There are some gyms nearby, including one that's open 24 hours, but CP does not have one for employees.

There used to be one in the rec center, but I'm told it's been removed sometime in the years since I've been in there.

The rec center doesn't have gym equipment anymore. It has a TV, couches, computers, ping-pong, Subway, and mail.

It's not really a gym; it's more of a few weight machines and treadmills in the Rec Center that doesn't open until Memorial Day weekend. Depending on where you're working; there's almost no time to spend working out unless it's your day off.
But seeing as how people are saying it's gone, it may not even be there anymore.

Well all i want to do is run so i hope there are some treadmills
There is not. Sorry.
There are miles of sidewalks and one enormous beach. If you'd rather burn your energy on a machine, I urge you to reconsider. The stairs at Soak City can give a good workout as well.
Many people run the sidewalks! A nice route would be from Commons or Bayside, to Battery Park which is very simple to find. Also, at night, many employees run the park since your employee ID can get you into the park 24 hours, which I recommend since it's a cool way to see a lot of the night maintenance that goes on there.
So employees can just roam the park at 3 am?

That is really cool. I would be interested to see the park when it is empty.

It's pretty cool and usually kind of eerie.

Sounds like an interesting idea for a horror movie, especially during Halloweekends.

When Space Spiral was there, it was very eerie, because that area was all dark and all you heard were the cables banging up against the tower during Halloweekends.
Walking through the park after closing is excellent!
All the rides are all lit up, the speakers are blaring heart-pounding tunes, and it's not unusual to go from the resort gate to Cedars without seeing a soul. It always made me feel like I owned the place, which - of course- I did!
The light patterns on Power Tower, Windseeker, the Giant Wheel, and Millenium Force can be so mesmerizing...
