I heard that the rec is horrible for working out, i might be totally wrong but thats what i've heard. Anyways i'm a bodybuilder and I plan on still working out at least 6 days a week if anyone wants to get a gym membership at anytime fitness or a gym close by and work out together, Lmk
I've been thinking about this too. I haven't found any information on what kind of stuff the rec has. I'd get a gym membership if the rec doesn't have any equipment. Any recommendations on gyms from people in the area?
See, I need this info as well. I do a lot of Pilates, Yoga, treadmill, and I've been wanting to do spinning. I have also heard the gym at CP isn't all that great and was thinking about getting a temporary gym membership near CP but I'm not sure what gym's are nearby or how good they are.

this is my 3rd year at cp and they don't have a gym anymore. I hear that one is in the process but im not sure so wouldn't count on it but last year I lifted at the YMCA and worked out great also there is an anytime fitness not far from cp

I've been looking online and theres a couple gyms, but I plan on living at bay side. Where is that anyways? i noticed a really good gym called health and strength that looks really badass but i dont want to walk like 2 miles to the gym -__- lol
Health and Strength Gym is in the Sandusky Plaza on Cleveland Road. It is not more than two miles from the Bayside Apartments. Bayside is at First Street and the Causeway, entrance to Cedar Point.
I think there is a planet fitness right down the road from CP, it's maybe a 5 minute drive. I plan on heading there as often as I can before the main season starts up and I've got 80 hour weeks. Send me a message or something and I wouldn't have a problem giving you a ride there.
