I am a teen and that really pisses me off to see gum everywhere, at school, on the sidewalks, at Cedar Point. I just don't get why people put it everywhere.
Last season I saw two people in the same day, get gum in their hair, I never saw this before at CP. Have you ever noticed how much gum is on all the high traffic areas?
Well, just like the topic of smoking in line why dont they ban gum chewing in the park? It is also a health hazard to have somebodys saliva on a wad of gum sticking to something.
Whenever I'm in the queue for Raptor, I've seen the most gum on the concrete support for the station right before you go up the stairs.
I'm 15 and I've never put gum on anything in the park-and never will.
I have seen adults put gum on walls and trees as well so let's not start pointing fingers at the teenagers.

They can't ban gum. Do you have any idea how hard that would be to inforce. Atleast with smoking you can smell it.

If you are chewing gum than people can see you chomping your jaws all the time so it wouldnt be that hard to enforce. They ban it in school so CP can enforce any rules they see fit.
You don't want to do that! Gum helps people quit smoking. Thats a big plus for both smokers and nonsmokers alike.

Our gum law at our school was repealed. Yeah!
I don't think CP has that big of a problem, and I for one am glad! I can actually see the design of the walls or structures for what it was made for.

What about the "gum roof"? I forgot what building that was, but I think I always saw it in line for the sky ride, or mabye it was the mill race?
The gum roof that I mentioned covers the maintenance area right under the Raptor loading station. Can't miss it.
