Well this is the official report form the gttp meeting this past Friday in Michigan. I'm not that good at writing reports, so bear with me. What started out to be a great day with lots of anticipation about that nights meeting soon took a turn for the worse. To start off the day I had to work for a few hours in the am, after working till about 3 am the night before. But this was not a problem because I thought I would be able to take a nice nap before the meeting when I got home from work......NOT. I ended up having to work 4 hours overtime, giving me only 3 hours until the meeting was going to start. No problem I thought, I would just go home and rest for an hour and get ready and go.I did just that. When I was pulling out of my driveway, the passenger side tire on my van decided to fall off. After further investigation I came to the conclusion that it was the ball joint that had given. So in a desperate rush to get to the meeting I barrowed my sisters car.
I finally arrive at the meeting at about 6:45....not too bad considering I said I would be there between 6:30-7:00. I waited at the front door for people to show up, and also was waiting for a table because for some reason they don't take reservations at this bw3. As i waited by the front door, Monster ride opp walked in. After waiting a few more minutes we decided to grab the table being offered to us. This was good, We had a table for six that I had asked(and waited for). As we sat there and talked, I showed off some pictures that I had found in my closet. I had some really nice shots of mantis and millennium force. Well about 30 min had passed and no one else had arrived, so we decided to order our food. Very quick service(much better than most restraint's I've been to in Ohio). It seemed like the second I sat down after ordering my food, it was ready. The food was great and so was the conversation, even though it was only the two of us that showed up.
After waiting around for a little while longer for some more people to show up(they never did) we decided to go and get a few beers at the loft(a nightclub). It started out with only being about 5 or 6 people in the club when we got there, but about an hour later the place was packed. I had great conversation with monster ride op as we chugged back some cold ones. Well what we thought would be a few beers turned into a lot of beers. We ended up closing the bar that night,but we had great conversation and a great time. Well, that's all I can think of right now....I hope that I didn't bore anyone with a long storie.
