Green track spotted???!!!

Good call, Mike. I just have a feeling that we're all missing something big. It's one those things that, when the announcement comes, there will be the collective sound of 9,000 Point Buzzers smacking themselves in the forehead. D'oh!

Dead Men Tell No Tales

Anyways, it really doesn't seem likely that CP would built two coasters (although would be cool) in the same year. These things cost like 20 to 30 million each. I don't think CP would spend ALL their profits building rides. Their in it to make money too and building one coaster alone will raise their attendence as is.

It is funny though.. someone could post such a small thing.. and create such a stir!..lol

ohhh how we want to know!

I know TTD was in that range, but I would guess this ride would be cheaper. Storm Runner was $12,500,000. Not chump change, but 1/2 half the cost of TTD.

So, if they could add 2 marketable rides (think Maverick AND a water ride, big flat, or AquaTrax for the WWL crowd) for the same investment of TTD, that could be seen as a positive: capture the coaster record again?

Now, at this point I think that the green track sighting is complete BS, even though I am intrigued at the idea of PVC pipe moving around the park at 1:00 am. Once your consider the project area is still totally accessible from Perimiter Rd, why would then need to transport at night?

I still think 2 rides in some respect, WWL was too popular not to replace. Time will tell.

EDIT: Yeah, def. said $12,500 first. Let's see: new Ford Focus or Intamin roller coaster. D'Oh! *** Edited 8/27/2006 4:24:20 PM UTC by PREMiERdrum***

$12,500? Whoa! I can put Storm Runner in my backyard for that amount! ;)

Beer and golf Thursday thru Monday, Cedar Point & beer, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Can you see One-Eyed-Willie from the top of Magnum?

I hate to be a cynic, but, I don't believe this green track thing for a couple of reasons;

1. What kind of western theme is green-red. I've never seen Santa carrying a six-shooter!

2. There are a lot of enthusiasts out there, I have to believe by now someone else would have seen it.

My bet is on the water pipe.

There are 2 types of computer users in the world; those that back up often, and those that have never had a hard drive fail.

They could be building a green ball coaster!!!;)

Why is it that we are seeing more and more threads turn into"Why are people so mean?" threads? When in reality not a person on this thread has been rude to anyone.

Seems like some of you are just looking for something to bitch about.

CouldnĀ“t agree more. I wish it would stop.

And here you both are, still going. I went out last night, had a good time, had some drinks, hung out after with some friends, came home, slept, woke up around 12:30- and here you both are- still bitching like little 3-year olds about a response I made to someone else. Yeah, I wish it would stop, too. Exactly what I'm talking about.

I wouldn't say this is much of a stir, nobody is really buying it.

Funny because I posted that yesterday.

I go get lunch with some friends come back and see that you are still bitching about us and our opinions. Who is forcing you to read this? You choose to come here at your own will and post on your own will. People aren't able to have a conversation with you unless they agree with you. Because if they don't you instead insist that people have it out for you and that people are "Jumping" on you. When in reality it's called a reply. That is what "3 year olds" do.

"Yeah, I wish it would stop, too." Yet you keep it going, nice work.
