We arrived in Sandusky on 8/17 around 6pm. We checked into the room and looked at each other like, what are we waiting for? Initially we were going to get some pool time and relax that night. But with season passes in hand, off we went to start our week long trip! We went right to TTD! Our first ride was great! I don't think it broke down at all. Next we did Power Tower, Magnum, and ended it with MF. Great night and we were back in our room by 10:45. Monday, we were off to explore the rest of the park, but we went to TTD for the morning boost! We were waiting and we got the ":Attn guests waiting for the ........." and decided to go off to get breakfast. So we went to the back of the park and rang for a shuttle bus to take us to Breakwater Cafe. We had breakfast and went back to the park. We rode all the cool rides, Magnum, MS, MF, WT, PT, Raptor, Gemini, and even disaster transport. We left late and even thought about sleeping in Tuesday since we were tired from walking and the 6+ hour ride on the disaster turnpike of PA. Most people around home think we are crazy for going to CP when we live 20 min from Hershey Park (boooooooooooring) and they just built new (boooooooooooring) roller coasters recently. Yeah right! Crazy indeed! Coaster crazy! Anyway, Tuesday we got in line and we heard the same thing ":Attn guests waiting for the ........." well you know what they said and if you were there, you know it didn't ride all day until about 7pm (I think, I don't know time since MS ate my watch), they were changing some hydraulic valve or something. So we were burnt out from the previous days and decided to wait for a while. After hours of waiting we were second in line and at that point my wife was getting testy! Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah....... was all I heard. Look, I was on vacation, had 6 days to play with and I was in no hurry! I met a lot of nice people there in line. Everyone waiting had no problems with waiting either. I wish though that I would have got some names and numbers from those waiting in the line. We had a great time and 4 family's waiting there (including us) were from PA. Mr. Wright (it said I am Mr. Wright on his shirt), Claudia and her son from Scranton area and 2 from Pittsburgh. Claudia was a trip! And I wish we would have at least exchanged e-mail addresses. If anyone knows her, we would like to get a hold of her. Well, we had all day to do that but we never did. But the whole day was great. Just talking with the WORLDS GREATEST RIDE OPERATORS AND CP POLICE OFFICERS and the others waiting there was fun. We told dirty jokes and Claudia asked the one operator to do a dance which he did real well, everyone said he must be a drama major or something. I think his name was Patrick or something. He was great! We talked to all the operators. They were all cool! People would come up and ask when it was going to open and then look at us like your crazy! We are! Look, I said, we are on vacation, I have 3 more days to do what I want. Anyway, I was out relaxing in my air conditioning in my van and saw them test fire a train. So I ran back in. It was around 6 I think (no watch) and I got back and the line was forming fast! It still was not ready but we were ready! Then a little later, more shots and people could taste the ride! Now you have idiots (line jumpers) showing up to ride. Line jumpers were all over the front of the line! I turned around and some kid was standing there. They made an announcement that if you have not been waiting here since 9 am and find yourself at the front of the line, you need to move to the back. People started pointing to the idiots and got them removed. I turned to this kid and said, how long have you been waiting? He said I have been here for 5 minuets. WOW! He was thinking he was going to get in front of me!? I showed him where the line started real quick! But shortly after that we got the OK we wanted and started our walk to the loading platform. It was great! Everyone was yelling and cheering! We got on and I was in the 2nd row. We all yelled we are guinea pigs! And people all around yelled guinea pigs! We got launched, my arms went up, and I could feel this was a bad launch or something. I started yelling rollback and when we got to the top of the hill, I thought we were going to stop up there. And about that time my wife said oh boy, and we started back down the hill, my arms still up the whole way! When we got back down, we were cheered on BIG time. It was like they were all our people out there! They were yelling guinea pigs and asking how it was and everything. Then the most stupid question I ever heard in my life came from an operator, "do you still want to ride"? WOW! What a fun time! Who would get off after that? Anyway, up and over the next time and we were cheering and we couldn't hear the "how was your ride" at the end it was so loud! When we got off, I wanted to see how Claudia liked the ride but I was so high after the ride that we barely stopped to look at the pictures with all the high fives and people asking how it was. So I got what I secretly wanted, my wife and daughter survived it and would even like to do a rollback again! We did a few other rides and got TTD 5 more times before we left for home Friday. I must say CP is absolutely the cleanest, friendliest, roomiest, and has the best rides of any park I have ever been to. Your crew has a great attitude even under adverse circumstances and they keep a level head. We had a great time and we are certainly going to CP for our vacations in the future. I hope everyone has the same to say, if not, they need to lighten up! THANKS CP for the excellent time!

Don, I'm right there with you in your week long venture to the Po!nt. We did ours 2 weeks ago. One day i said the hell with it and sat in line at the gate by Magnum at 740am than proceded to the Dragster line and didnt ride til 152pm...lol.
Another night i jumped in line for Dragster at 9pm didnt ride til 147am very last train out and in the front seat.....i was so pumped. Wife didnt wait with me, she went to the room. Met some awesome people that made the wait blow right by. Worth every minute i spent waiting in line. Witnessed an unexpected launch where everything was running than it all shut off with the brakes in the down position, than all of a sudden the peel out came on the speakers and they were gone.....everyone was laughing so hard in the station.....i was like, WOW!
Glad you had an awesome time...i feel the exact same way!. Will be going back on Sept 26th than again on Oct 10th. Hoping for some multiple rides on Dragster.
