great deal for after work

Hey I was just reading online, discovered this and thought this was cool-

all first run movies at Woodland Mall in Bowling Green are only $2.25 on Tuesday nights! This might be something fun to do after work. It's like an hour from Sandusky, but Bowling Green is a fun lil' college town. I'm sure there are plenty of bars/restaurants to find trouble in...LOL!

All other nights its $4.25 . Before six any day its 2.25 and on thursday nights its 2.25 all night if you have a college id. I go there quite often and tis a nice little theatre.

I was just in shock that ALL DAY Tuesday is $2.25!! That is amazing considering Westfield Franklin Park is now up to $12 for a new release.

I heard that paychecks are now "bi weekly" for CPers, so this may be something fun to do on "off days" when you don't have much money.

That and of course- you know, the entertainment runs aplenty late at night in BG "after" the movies end. There are always great bars/patios/restaurants to hit up. For a good laugh and cheap drinks, Uptown is full of "Facebook opportunities" on Tuesdays. LOL!

Wow, $12 now at Franklin Park? What a joke. No wonder I don't go to movies anymore. However, the cheap prices in BG are pretty likely to persuade me to make the 30 minute drive when I want to see something. It's sad how a "big" city like Toledo can totally suck at having any kind of night life while BG manages to be so awesome.

I agree completely. I live in Toledo and it can be a ghost town at night. When I went to the movies the other night, it was packed! There was a line out the door to get tickets. I'd advise to get there somewhat early.

Oh..and the mall closes at 9pm- so you have to go to the back entrance by Quarters Bar and Grille to gain entry to the movie theater after 9pm.

Heres a tip for BG's movie theater. Use the ticket machine thats next to the counter. Theres never anybody using it and it lets you skip whatever line there is buying tickets.

ooh that's a great tip! Didn't think about that one. Last week there was a huge line out the door to see "Transformers 2". Good thing that I went to see another film instead. Ha ha!!

Well folks, tonight is the night again if anyone wants to see a first run movie for only $2.25.

Woodland Mall Cinemas- State Rte 25 (Main Street) Bowling Green OH 43402

Or, travel 25 minutes east and go to Amherst and hit up Ziggy's any night for 5 dollar domestic draft pitchers and some of the best food..Mondays and Thursdays are a dozen wings or a dozen butterfly shrimp for 5 bux and Tuesday is a dozen mussels for 5 bucks...Church Street for karaoke on Thursday nights...Pour House for dollar drafts all day Monday and dollar cans all day Tuesday. May not be a college town but there are 8 bars all within about a 200 foot radius..also a Mexican restaraunt that offers amazing margaritas at real low prices.
