Got the job!

Processing in May 10th :) I believe I am going to be in ride operations.

Although I have a couple questions.
I am traveling a far distance to get to Ohio so I will be completely on my own in an airport across the nation. Do I just figure out myself and find my own way to cedar point on my process in day? Or does someone pick me up somewhere? And do I choose my own dorm or will they assign me? (If I choose what one do you recommend?)

I'm stoked, my second summer job somewhere else in the world. A little scared, but excited for the new adventure.

As for the airport, you will have to arrange a ride out to Cedar Point from the airport because CP does not supply transportation. As for housing, I processed in last year on May 10th, and I chose right there. I lived in commons dorms, and I loved it! The only thing I didn't like was that it was most expensive, and the public showers. But at least they clean the bathrooms for you, so it's one less thing to worry about.

As for dorms, you can choose which one you live in and who you live with. Personally, I'd say get to know the people you're living with before, Facebook stuff like that.

Housing is as follows:
On point:
Golds - girls dorm, no a/c, 2 people per room, summer camp style
Cedars - boys dorm, same as golds

Off point:
Bayside - co-ed by apartment, no a/c, 8-10 people per apartment (correct me if I'm wrong), 3-4 people per room
Common Apartments - co-ed by apartment, a/c only in the living room, 15-20 people per apartment, 2 bathrooms
1300's - all girls, a/c, 3-4 people per room, lockers
1400's - all boys, a/c, 3-4 people per room, lockers
1500's - co-ed, a/c, 3-4 people per room, lockers

I'm from Boise Idaho, I'm a little worried about the commons apartments not being available by when i get there, what do you think?
