Chrissy, Area 1 is amazing! It's right by the employee parking lot, Park Operations office is the closest, and the rides are awesome. You have the odds of getting placed at these locations depending on if you choose to work in kid or adult rides (which is a question you will be asked in your interview): Gatekeeper, Raptor, Wicked Twister, Blue Streak, MaXair, Giant Wheel/Troika, Kiddie Kingdom, Planet Snoopy, Calypso/Turnpikes, Ocean Motion, Cadillac Cars, and SkyRide.
One word that sums up the awesomeness of Area 3: Stockade.
If you're hired and are placed in A3, many of your best memories will come from Stockade, the employee break area.
2012: Gemini/Mean Streak
2013: Co-Team Leader of Gemini/Maverick on Halloweekends Fridays
2014: Ride Supervisor of Thunder Canyon/Skyride/GateKeeper on Halloweekends Fridays
2015: Ride Supervisor of Rougarou

That's funny. That's one of the reasons I always quote for not wanting to work in A3. I would much rather have the cafe.
Two words: macho nachos.
2010: Millennium Force & Mantis
2011: Raptor
2012: Raptor, Sky Ride and Wicked Twister
2013: Co-Team Leader of Sky Ride

Are they using Skype for the Interviews now, or that just for first years?
Jake Padden
13-Tiques/Wave Swinger
12-Camp Snoopy; Tiques/Wave Swinger
11-CP & LE Railroad Platform; Cedar Creek Mine Ride; Tiques/Wave Swinger
^ really?
Anyways, that is one of the many reasons I never wanted to work in A3. A1 is the best! Macho Nachos, The pizza is good, and those delicious little toll house cookie ice cream sandwiches. Can't beat it.
It's not the food that makes stockade. It's all the shenanigans that goes on there, especially when you get 12 ride hosts on one table. Also, they do have the ice cream cookie sandwiches in stockade. Lol.

2014: Ride Supervisor - Cedar Downs & Cadillac Cars

:) That's very true. I forgot they had them there too. Well good luck on your calls regardless of where you eat on your break. I'm sure it'll be a great summer. Unfortunately, my days are numbered at the park and hopefully getting a big job this summer.
