We rolled into the park around 9:45 blasting 'Ready to Go' in his usual fashion. He hadn't known the Dragster was up running again, but we didn't end up riding it anyways because there weren't Freeways and he refuses to stand in line for too long. lol.
We checked on the Millenium which was an hour wait and figured we'd come back later. We got right onto Mantis, and then zig zagged over to Power Tower and took a ride up. After that came the Corkscrew, which I love more everytime I ride it... then got right unto my personal favorite, the Magnum.
After this I took my first ride ever on the Witches Wheel. I laughed the whole time. It made me forget where I was. Gemini was running blue. We rode that once then hit the Mine Ride. At 11 we got Millenium stamps for 7-8 then got a Mantis one from 2-3. We then hit the Tilt a Whirl where we babysat for some random people's kids for them, and the Monster.
After the Ocean Motion, Chaos, Troika, Wicked Twister and Space Sprial, we got on Mantis, then went to lunch in the parking lot.
Eric opened the back hatch of his Jeep and we sat out there watching all the people go by. A group of Hill Billy guys had lost their car and they went by us about 5 times looking for it. Lol. I wanted to tell them they had already come that way. Then we fed the Seagullls. I swear, by the time we were done we had 1/3 of the Sandusky seagull population next to our car.
Didn't go back into the park until about 5:45, where we waited 30 minutes for Raptor, then rode Blue Streak, Calypso, Scrambler, Matterhorn, Cedar Downs, and Iron Dragon before we rode Millenium. I always black out when I ride that! I swear there is something wrong with me, but it's excellent fun all the same. We then hit the Mean Streak, which was sadly slow and slightly yawn inducing. Then there were the Swings, which Eric is totally obsessed with hitting the tree on. So far his record is 4 hits. Then, White water landing, Gemini and Demon Drop. Disaster Transport was moving really slow all day. Rumor had it they were only running one train, so we didn't wait.
Finally, we made our run from the front of the park on back to ride Magnum once again. I got a 10 second head start, but Eric still ended up beating me there. We rode 4 times before leaving, and on time number four, the trims were off. It was such a beautifully out of control thing.
Overall, this was the best trip I've had this year! Hopefully I'll get in at least 3 more. *** Edited 7/23/2004 6:15:52 AM UTC by Abz***
