Good radio stations in Ohio?

Hi, my name is Jesz and my sister and I are going to CP May 27th. WooHoo! :) We are going to be coming from Michigan (down river). I was just wondering if any of you that are from Ohio or just travel to CP a lot know of the good stations to listen to while we are on the way there? We are going to bring her ipod but sometimes I just like the radio better.

So could any of you help me with the good stations? Like in Michigan we have 95.5 (popular music) 88.7 (alternative) 96.3 (popular music without rap) 99.5 and 106.7 (country).

If anybody has any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate! Thanks! :)

Thanks Brian. But that thread was for classic rock stations. I'm more looking for the ones I mentioned. Alternative, popular music, hip hop, and country.

89X comes in very well and they play alternative and rock for the most part, not sure about country since I don't like that kind of music.

I listened to 89X all the way from Windsor to CP on Tuesday with no signal loss. I like the Morning X show so it worked out pretty well especially since my CD changer isn't working in my car right now.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

There are no good stations anymore on terrestrial radio.

Good Radio died sometime in the 90's.

Not so! Here in the Akron area, we're lucky enough to listen to The Summit (91.3 FM, WAPS). The format is basically AAA, so you get nice mixes of blues, pop, rock, reggae, folk, you name it. And since it's a non-profit station, it's commercial free.
