Golden Ticket Award

I was wondering if TTD will make it in the top 25 or top 10 steel roller coasters for 2003. Didn't MF become 2nd its first or second year.

MF became number 1 its second year according to my unreliable memory.

i wouldn't be surprised if it did. MF was up there on the list when it opened and the dragster is the only one like it in the world. it'll probly get some type of award.

I'd give it 3 awards: Most downtime
Most unreliable ride of 03'
Most likely to be down

Seriously, how can a coaster receive an award with such awful downtime and unreliability??

If the voters rode it when it was up.

How?, You'll see how when its #1 or #2 for this years Golden Ticket. The reaction for this ride is amazing, Most people say its better then MF. Just wait and see.

Wow, I am really tired of people whining and complaining about it being down all of the time. Get used to it. We are lucky they even built it. This year could have been like 2001 with no new rides but it's not. Anyways, I think it is likely to get in the top 10 this year. We'll have to see.

Honestly i dont think it will make the top 10. I have ridden it, twice. and after i rode it the first time i was all about making it number 1. but after riding it a 2nd time, i dont think it deserves to be in the top 10. I mean it is a one trick pony. Just wondering but is Super Man the Escape on the top 10 for steel?

In 2002 X made it to #20 and it was only open for 3 to 4 months. Dragster has a great chance of making the top five.

Superman the Escape did not make the list for the top 25 in 2002. SF Magic Mountain's highest ranking coaster was Goliath, tied for 14th with Raging Bull (SFGA). Wow, I get really tired of people worshiping CP like it is some type of holy ground. WHY on earth should we want to get used to it being down? Because it will never be reliable? If thats true they should take it down.

Thank CP for building it?? Please, you think CP built this for us? No way, they built it to generate more revenue and attention only. They could care less what the enthusiests want. I dont fault them for that, they are a business. But thank them for a ride that barely runs?? I dont think so. CP will hopefully get this thing running reliably eventually. But it is amazing to me that some of you think that CP can do no wrong. Its the guests fault this thing is broken down and they are disappointed? Ridiculous.

I think they should have saved a ton of money and built a good wooden coaster, like a new version of the old CP Cyclone, except bigger and enhanced. Would have been very reliable and fullfilled a type of coaster that is sorely lacking at CP. Plus, I guarantee you it would be running (as long as they didnt make it 300ft LOL).

for all those who have rode TTD....don't you remember getting off it and not being able to wipe that smile off your face for 10 minutes and still saying"that was sweet". IF YOU HAVE NOT RODE TTD YET YOU HAVE NO OPINION ON THE MATTER OF IF IT SHOULD BE A TOP TEN.

You know what CPTwister I really get tired of ****ing fools like you. I hate people that call them Cedar Point fans but, all they do is whine and whine an ***** all day. Top Thrill Dragster is a NEW ride if you want a better chance on getting a ride try next year. Cedar Point may be a very smart bussniess and build world-breaking record coasters for fame but, they also try sooo hard to put smiles on peoples face and guess what? They do! Ever freackin' train that pulls into the Dragster unloading platform, the whole train cheers and is extreamly happy! Way to go CP! You bring smiles to everyone but, for the ****ing fools who hate you.

Every Train that pulls into the unloading station on TTD cheers? Um no. On my trian, no body said anything, we were all kinda like......isnt there more?
