Gold dorms

When are the gold dorms available? Would they be open at the end of May like the 21st?

That weekend or the next....They open them up late because of staffing and the lack of heat for the colder spring nights.

It's generally around Memorial Day weekend, but can vary based on how close to capacity the other buildings are.

My daughter made arrangements to room with someone she met on this site. Her Roommate processed in on Monday 5/7 and was going to save a spot in her room for my daughter who processes in this Sunday 5/13. However she was told Commons Dorms is filling up fast and she was put into a room with other girls and was not allowed to save a spot. Their original plan was to stay in Commons until Golds opened up, then move to Golds. If Commons is already filling up, maybe Golds will open up a little sooner.

Gold Dorms would be great for my sister and I we process in the 20th & 21st. But they dont have air or heat so it'll probably be pretty hot when the summer weather fully kicks in, and pretty cold when the fall weather comes about..hmm.

It can get pretty warm in the dog days of summer but bring enough fans and you will be alright. Golds, along with Cedars closes up around Labor Day so all employees are moved into commons.

My daughter stayed in Golds last year and we bought a small air conditioner at Walmart. Housing installed it for a small fee, I think it was $35, and she had to pay a little extra each month to housing for the electricity. It was well worth it. It was really hot last summer but her room was VERY cool even on the lowest setting. She is taking the same air conditioner with her this year.

Well if I have to move during the season I don't want to live there that would be a hassle.. might choose the common dorms or apts..

You wont move untill CP goes to just weekends....So that while you have the week off from the park you move into commons.

Ok I wanted to know if the Bayside Apts be filled up by this time?
