OK so it's not really CP persay but close enough for me! :) Sunday was the GOCC annual Christmas party. The year it was held at the Sandusky Radisson. Some fellow GOCC’ers/GTTP’ers and I were part of the party. It was the 1st time I made the long haul to Sandusky pre-Christmas (did do a January haul last year) so for the 1st time I got to see the houses and some of the smaller town’s decorations. Despite starving I opted
NOT to stop at Hardees for a frisco breakfast sandwich (yummy! ;)) which I would later kick myself for
several times. Heading down First St I got my first Winter view of the CP skyline with that big yellow, red and while thing. I really can’t wait to see it completed and really can’t wait til Spring to ride it. Arrived at Radisson and was part of the GTTP table. I joined Matt (
Skykicker), Tony (
Tony), Flora (
RCRed), Jeff (
UCICTFHUPHI), Dave (
DodgeEmDave), as well as Flora’s hubby Tim, Matt’s Dad Glenn and Ken. The party itself consisted of the usual speeches, slide presentations, some videos, and door prizes. The food was really very good, although I never did figure out what the mushy stuff was in that one pasta salad. I especially liked the butter balls, found they made a snowman quite easily (this only a selected few will understand!! :)) The conversation around the table was the usual CP talk about our ‘02 adventures. Bryan Edwards did the Cedar Point spiel after dinner and announced to all of us what the new ‘03 ride will be--
NOT! ;) Watching Dave (and his pinkie) sneaking in a couple ZZZs was hilarious, as well as some inside jokes. I found it is almost impossible to eat around most of us since we laugh so much we almost choked a few times!! We all got our GOCC Christmas cards, as well as an exit pass for ‘03! I was the lucky one who got dibs on the oao GOCC patch!! :) For me, it was great seeing my CP buds once more, my fellow GOCC’ers, and Bryan and Angie. Made me very sad leaving Sandusky with no Raptor ride for me. We were all going to head to the mall to find Mr Skyward but decided against it! Remind me next party to wear my CP uniform....
NOT! ;)
Thanks to all for a great time!! :) See some of you Saturday!

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that? :)
