so is anyone else working the go carts this summer?? i have only found one other person who is and it would be nice to meet more before heading to CP. :)

Im working in go carts

So, here's how to impress your TL and ATL. Have this memorized before you process in.

"Welcome riders to the Grand Prix/Sprint race track. For your safety and the safety of all other riders, please listen carefully to the following instructions. Please step into your assigned go-ko kart, pull the shoulder harness over your head, onto both shoulders, and connect it to the buckle between your legs. For a proper fit, the shoulder harness straps are adjustable. If you need assistance, please raise your hand, and a ride hsot will assist you. The pedal on the right is the gas, the pedal on the left is the brake. Please do not step on the gas pedal until we instruct you to do so. While on the course, please do not bump or ram the go-karts. Bumping, ramming, and reckless driving will result in your immediate removal from the ride with no refund. Those riders with a 2 consecutive ride ticket, please hold up that 2nd ticket after returning to the station for the ride host to collect. While on the course, please observe and obey the traffic signal lights. When the light is green, you may go, when the light is yellow, slow down and return to the station, and when the light is red, stop your go-karts immediately by pressing the brake pedal on the left and wait for instructions from a ride host. In just one moment, we'll begin dispatching your go-karts. Once again, please do not step on the gas pedal until we instruct you to do so. Riders on the Grand Prix/Sprint track, your light is now green, you may go. Your light is green. GO!"

Green Light- Riders on the Grand Prix/Sprint track, your light is now green, you may go. Your light is green, go.

Yellow Light - Riders on the Grand Prix/Sprint track, your light is now yellow, please slowly and carefully return to the station.

Red Light - Riders on the Grand Prix/Sprint track, your light is now red, please stop your go-karts immediately. Once again, your light is red, please stop your go-karts immediately.

Welcome back riders, please enter the station slowly and carefully, making sure not to bump the go-karts in front of you. Please remain seated in your go-karts until all go-karts have returned to the station, and you've been instructed to exit by a ride host.

Thank you for waiting. At this time you may exit your go-karts, follow the blue/white lines to the front/back of the station, and exit through the white gate marked exit on your right/left. Thank you for riding and enjoy the rest of your day here at Cedar Point.

It seems like a lot to memorize, but you'll probably have it memorized within a week, and you'll be saying it your sleep the rest of your life.

You forgot to add "repeat this at least ten times or until the Ripcord crew threatens to strangle you" on the red light speil. :)

I haven't been to Challenge Park since the Friday evening they first opened up, but all the crews (go karts and Ripcord/Skyscraper) seemed to be pretty good despite it being their first day open.
