Giant Wheel

I'm no expert on winterizing a theme park, but I would think replacing burned out bulbs at the end of the season would be counterproductive? They could easily be damaged during the harsh Sandusky winter and need replaced again in the spring.

I would think they'd remove the bulbs, but then there would be empty sockets which is not good for weather either. So, I'm not sure.

Or, because changing them out is such a pain (just a guess), they don't keep a very large stock of GW lights on hand. They may have been running the lights to get a note of how many are burned out so they can make sure they have enough come spring to replace them all.

Giant wheel is naked with no cabins.

There were several strands of lights that were out at the end of the season. My guess would be that they're not replacing bulbs as much as they're trying to fix those strands.
