Giant Wheel's cabins were removed today.

Love how you have put that together as a video. It is always bittersweat to see winter prep. Just like fall, death for the eventual rebirth in the spring.

Kind of a bummer that that is just about the most exciting thing you'll see from that camera during the offseason. It's not a very scenic view.

Yeah, I just noticed on the webcam that the cabins are gone.

Thanks for pointing that out, whenever I look at the webcam I have never known what that thing was, I always thought like an umbrella or something. As you can see I've never been to Halloweekeds.

^I think that UFO was the coolest prop this year.

I know they had it last year, I believe they've had it for at least a couple years.

Last year I seen a giant alien hanging out near-by. I didn't seem him this year.

They have had the UFO since the first or second year of Halloweekends. It was always near the Area 51 box truck with the alien that popped up and down on the exam table in the back.

I believe the UFO is one of the original props from 11 years ago when Halloweekends first started. I seem to remember that one thing really well for some reason.

I have always loved the UFO. Last year they had fog coming out from under it but this year no fog..... Just like Maverick's Tunnel.

I enjoyed the additional fog that was put in the zones, but miss the areas where they took it away from as a result.

I seen that the Giant Wheel's lights are on tonight, while most of the rest of the park is dark... ;)

Maybe they were just testing to see what lights were working, and what lights they needed to put on the lines before they were gonna take the lines down.

There appeared to be several lights that were out on it when I was there this past October.

Since there appeared to be quite a few lights out this year, they are likely doing a rehab and replacing all the bulbs.
