Just a heads up, after traveling the Turnpike yesterday, it is down to one lane between the Maumee and Perrysburg exits here in Toledo. That was the only construction I encourntered along the way. I usually get on in Maumee, but it looks like I'll be getting on in Perrysburg, at least for a while.

Will the addition of TTD allow me to get more rides on MF this year?

A little under an hour, from Westlake, on the (surprisingly enough) west side of Cleveland.

This is the first year that I actually bought season passes. Should be lots of fun :)

I just live north of Detroit Michigan and it takes me and my boyfriend around 2 1/2 to 3 hours to get to Cedar Point. If there is traffic it may be closer to 3 1/2 hours, but still not long for us.
It's takes me between 30 and 45 minutes but i have friends that have made it in less than 20 minutes.

It takes me, 2hrs and 15minutes from Troy, Michigan.
s75 south to I-75 south is the best way to get there From my house. i am right by M-5 that connects to 275. and when we hit 75 it is only like 20 miles tops to the border and then at the first exit we go get coffee and race to CP doing the speed limit tring to out run the coffee to the bladder! lol

One time and one time only i made it to CP in under 2 hours speeding to the border and staying with the flow of traffic, and going mach 5 in sandusy once i saw Millennium Force for the first time. me and about 7 in front and 7 behind were all haulin' down some little road, forget what road it was. Made it before they lifted the chains to the park! but never again will i speed like that again. now i take my time and go the speed limit if not maybe 5 over. if you have that little Blue thing on your car that says Michigan...don't speed not worth it.

Besides the great rides and being the best of everything, the best part about Cedar Point is that it isn't Six Flags! YAY!

Or if the plate's white, even more dangerous. It reflects LIDAR (Laser) better...

Hence, many states have adopted plates that are mostly white.

And yes, my plate's white. I keep the faith with my NMA membership, my V1 in the windshield, and a watchful eye for abnormal brakelights on the horizon.

You know there's nothing good on TV when you're desperate enough to specifically look for infomercials.

What route do you take? I live by New Riegel, which is close to Tiffin, and it takes me approx. an hour.

This may not be the best topic for this, but rather than start a new thread I guess it fits with the name of this one. What's the best way to get to CP from Cleveland?

I've come from the South in the past. This time I'll be flying into Hopkins and driving from there. Obviously I'll be taking I-90, but is it best to take 2 and at what juncture is it best to make the transition? I'll be driving on a weekday at 7am-ish, is there traffic going Eastbound on I-90 or 2 or is the flow of the traffic going West towards Cleveland in the morning (if at all)?

About 2hrs and 45 min from Ft Wayne on US 24..lousy road
4 1/2 hours from Chicago
------------------
Does it stop at 420 feet in the air.......?¿?
No you still have to spiral down
3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours from London, Ontario... depending on the border (and the mood of the customs guys)
The best way to get there from the airport is to hop onto 480 west and then I-80 west (ohio turnpike) From there you have two options. You can either get off at Ohio 57 and head north to route 2 west and follow that all the way to CP, or you can get off at US 250, and follow the signs north to CP.
If the Ohio state troopers werent so anal on the Turnpike, us Chicagoans could get to CP much quicker. :)

'Chitown'=== who thinks the tollroad through Indiana and Ohio should be converted into an "autobahn". :)

From where I stay it takes me a good 45 minutes to an hour. But it is definatley worth the drive.
Hey, coming from US6 from the east, I've normally just followed 6 all the way to the CP causeway. Does anyone know if it is any quicker to turn onto SR2 where it hits 6 and go to either SR4 or US250 (like the signs say) or to just follow 6 like I've always done (and seems shorter)? Thanks.

From Parma, I usually take the turnpike to the Elyria exit and then take 90 to route 2 and get off at the Rye Beach Road exit. Driving back and forth many times last summer, this seems like the best, and quickest, route for me. The only bad thing is route 2 is sooooooo boring and I would be nodding off at the wheel on my way home!
