Getting Pictures of #16

well if you want to be techincal here i do own the part i am a shareholder of cedar fair and about the arms up in the air the ONLY reason they say that is so they can't be sued if something happens to the person. Just like McDonalds coffee says "Caution HOT!" so they can't get sued again by some stuiped person. And i last tiem i read this topic NOONE but you were 'whining' about anything.

i think cedar point should find Tomaso and not let him in the park for the 2003 season for saying something so stuiped

whine Pronunciation Key (hwn, wn)
v. whined, whin·ing, whines
v. intr. To utter a plaintive, high-pitched, protracted sound, as in pain, fear, supplication, or complaint. To complain or protest in a childish fashion. To produce a sustained noise of relatively high pitch: jet engines whining.

yup they are the same i feel

CP is remarkably mellow about letting people get right up next to parts in the staging area. Taking advantage of that by crossing the line may encourage CP to build really big fences around the staging area, instead. That's what folks mean by "don't ruin it".
Brian I applaud you on your rational response that wasn't derogitory or vulgar at all. It sounded educated and mature and I wish that would of been the first response to tomaso's post instead of proclaiming him the 'whipping boy' wasn't their a disclaimer here before you could post things. doesn't that apply to the webmaster as well..?

Rule 1: there are no rules.

Of course, Rule 1 vanishes in a puff of logical inconsistency, but you get the idea.

Whether or not we are whining about it, doesn't change the fact that he was trespassing. Obviously, trespassing is illegal and prosecutable. Perhaps we are upset over a stupid act by someone that could have repercussions on us the next time there is something we want to get up close and see. If enough people disobey the rules, then they could seclude all parts of a ride and not let anyone near it.

The thing that is so bad about his breaking the rules is that it gives other enthusiasts a bad name.

Well, it's official... Tomaso is the official dumbass GTTP whipping boy! Anyone want to take bets on how long he'll last?

Welcome to the Magnum XL-200, the coaster featured most on the Discovery Channel.

So your mad at him because you might get in trouble when you do it just because he did it first? Sorry CP Bound but I had to point this one out, it's not just you. People have been getting too quick to judge. The tension level is starting to rise. Make the announcment already!

The Fast and the Fearless

I am surprised that so many of you find a problem with tomaso's idea. It seems to me that this is what you all secretly want to do anyway so you can go in the parking lot and connect the pieces the way you want them since for some reason a 400+ foot tall , 100+ mph rollercoaster with a twist or two isn't enough for you. (end run on):)
Of course I want to do it. But I won't. It's called "impulse control." I'm trying to teach it to my two year old. My four year old is starting to get the hang of it.

Besides, that's why I've asked my understanding wife to buy me RCT2. She's about ready to diagnose me obsessive-compulsive (and being a psychiatrist, she can back it up) but so far is humoring me. She even managed to surmise that my last Halloweekends trip a few weeks back was mainly to see construction up close and personal, but doesn't hold it against me. Yet.

I love that woman.

Don't let your wife near mine. Mine already says I have a "sickness". Thats an unprofessional opinion though probably true. If she talks to your wife I may end up committed.
Thankfully, the ethical guidelines that psychiatrists must follow forbids them from treating family members or personal friends. It turns out that the physician cannot have the "proper emotional distance."

However, people the psychiatrist meets in queue lines are fair game. She does not yet have licensure in Ohio, but watch out during our MiA trips. :)

Actually, as a point of information, one guest was hurt attempting to get more pictures in the staging area, and all future construction will be "more secure."

No, what he was saying is that it's possible that because of dorks climbing over the fence, they'll put up an enclosure or make it so we can't get closer than 1000 ft from the coaster pieces. So far, they're being generous and allowing us to have rather close shots that are clear and unblocked. We shouldn't abuse that privilege or we won't have it anymore.

So, like I said, we're mad because people like him can ruin it for us people that are smart enough not to climb over the railings... and furthermore dumb enough to post that they did it on GTTP.

I think Cedar Point should find him and ban him from the park for all of 2003 and 2004. In fact, I think he should be sent to some far off place in the world for that time period. Then, as a punishment, the only real information about the park will be from friends and family in letters. Oh yeah, because he should be banned from the internet too. Also, he shouldn't be able to talk to his friends and family except for twice a year....Christmas and Mother's Day. I bet that would teach him.

The Gulag of CP has begun.
CoasterMonkey is exactly right. No where in my post did I claim that I wanted to jump any fences...
