Getting in the park to process in

k.. big question for a newbie... how in the hell do u get in the park to process in? do u buy a ticket or just say your processing in. Thanks!

The first step to processing in is to go to HR, which is outside of the park. From there they give you your ID badge, which is your pass into the park.

What do we need to bring with us when we process in? Do I need all the stuff CP sent me back in Jan? Thanks

Verbatim from the letter that CP sent you a long time ago with your stuff:

"All employees are required to provide proof of employment eligibility, (i.e. picture id or driver's license and a social security card or birth certificate) when they arrive for work at Cedar Point."

If you're under 18 (but i'm assuming you're not because of your email), you also need a Pledge of Employer card.

You also should need to bring your contract with you, unless you sent the whole thing back.

Also, if you did your training on the Internet, you should bring the printed certificate.

That's all you need to get started. Everything else is either commen sense (money, etc...) or you will get when you get there.

Thanks a lot Brian. I'm having a hard time finding the info CP sent me at school, including my contract. But I could have sent the whole thing. So hopefully that won't be a problem, thanks again

If you're really worried about it, you can call HR and have them check if they have all that stuff. If they don't, then see if they can make a new contract for you to just sign when you get there. I've heard of this being done before.

If we sent in our contract, Social Security card copy, and birth certificate copy by mail, I'm assuming all we need to take is an ID and our online training prinout...?

You'll still need either your card or certificate when you processed in. Atleast last year, I mailed in copies of mine and they still asked me for one when I processed in.

And you don't need the online training thing, they check that for you.

Last year when I arrived to check in they brought out a folder with my name on and my internet test score was written on the front in permanent marker. Lucky really cause I didnt have a copy of anything that said I passed

Same here Lou, I didnt need the test stuff.

HR is past the tollbooths to the park, just tell the person at the booth that you're processing in & they'll tell you where you need to go :)
