getting days off

Is it really hard to get days off you need of. Should i wait till my process day in june to tell them i need a day off in Aug or should i call them now and tell them.
Amanda. . .I am sure each department is a little different. However, this is the general idea I have gathered:

-If it's just one or two days off you need, it's probably OK to wait till you process in. If you know the date, then you can just tell them that you need those dates off. However, if it's like right in the middle of July, or a busy weekend, you might want to call ahead just to be safe.

-Once you have started for the season, if you need a particular day off, it sounds like you can just let them know a couple of weeks ahead of time. I am sure the earlier, the better, but it doesn't sound like it's a real problem!

Rachel: Hi Pheebs.
Phoebe: Hi!
Rachel: Hi! I just want to apologize. I’m really sorry I was a baby.
Phoebe: That’s ridiculous Rachel, we were all babies once. . .Oh, you mean today!
Rachel: Yeah.

If you know that you need a certain day off, it is always better to let them know prior to processing in. One day off is not really hard to get, since you get one day off a week anyway. If it is a weekday you could just wait until the time rolls around and request that be your off-day. But if it is a Saturday then it would be a good idea to let them know now.

If you need this particular day off for something really important, something you can't miss, then it would be advantageous to make sure you have it contracted off.

2 days left! :o
