Getaway Guides

Me three, Dick Kinzel if you reading this...sell us some posters!!!!

Please

During the season, there are certain days on certain rides that the park has photo shoots. It pays employees to come in before the park opens in "plain-clothes" to ride the rides for the photos. Employees are told not to put their hands up. What kind of safety message would the park be sending out if they were advertising with people breaking safety rules, ya know? Anyway, TTD's pictures last year were taken during a 2 morning photo shoot I believe. As I recall, I think the ride opened at least one of the evenings, but I may be mistaken.

So why aren't those photos offered for sale to the public? High quality photos and less expensive posters would be a BIG money maker, I would think.

I would be overjoyed to get 2% of the revenue generated from this idea. ;)

MForce Said:

I was quite surprised by the size this year. But I'm not complaining--it's good for the environment. Fewer trees to cut down! I usually get 4 or 5 guides, one which I keep in pristine condition.

If everyone got 4 or 5 guides there might not be a tree left standing...

D.A. Rossi,

That is funny!

Hello everyone, I am new to this board. My name is Sean and I am a huge fan of CP. I am a college student from Illinois whose favorite interests are music and rollercoasters.

I am also a frequent poster over on the Six Flags Great America World website.

I shall be looking forward to joining you all in fun conversation these next several months.

My comment regarding the Getaway Guides is that I ordered one online at the CP website over two months ago, and I still have not received one. I know that several people have recieved them. Maybe I was too late in ordering for the first batch???

Weirdness......

Hey gang, I've been planning a graduation trip to the point for some time. My closest friends and I are all getting our bachelors degrees from WVU this month. I have been getting restless waiting for my getaway guide and I just called and they said they haven't been printed yet and wouldn't be out to mid-late May. I know several people on here have said they have already received theirs. Is there anyone who out of the goodness of their heart would be willing to send a first generation college graduate *insert applause here* their starlight buy-one-get-one-free cupons? On my honor as a mountaineer, I will send you mine as soon as they arrive. Please *insert puppy dog face here*

Vanessa,

I would also send you mine as well! I am in the same boat as you however, I have not recieved my Getaway Guide either.

I called last week and they said a new batch was to be mailed this week. That's what I was told.

So...hopefully we should see something soon.

If I get mine, I will send you coupons as well (if wingnut doesn't beat me to it!!)

Congrats on college graduation!!!
