Yesterday was the first day all year I saw George run. They normally run him on the 4th of July but didn't this year. Anyone else see George run this year at all?

I haven't, but speaking of the trains, I've always loved the Judy K. (That's my mom's name and middle initial)

Isn't Disney World a people trap run by a mouse?

Speaking of CP&LE. How any engines do they have and how many are in running condition and which ones do they actually use on a regular basis.
Also, when was the last time they used Albert?

I thought on Disc special they said they had four.

I think the have four steam engines:
George R. Judy K. Myron H. Albert (currently SBNO at the junction...Cedar Junction)
Dan, He was running Thursday the 19th too. I was in the MF line and watched them pull one off and put him on.
George is now The Special Engine on the CP&LE RR...It used to be Albert which has been retired to "stud". George R is named after George Roose (I believe I spelled that right) which is the name of one of the key people for "saving" CP back in the late 50's
I made the comment with Sabrina in the car the other day that I saw George out.. first time this year..
True ALbert is sitting at Cedar Junction.. but.. there IS a 5th train there this year.. there is the one they got from Disney that is sitting in the engine house.. yet to be used because of some rail size issues.

The fifth I believe is out of the engine house. Behind the engine house a piece of track extends out. The train back there is I believe named Jennie. At least a few years ago it was. It is under a big black tarp. It is not operational as Rob said. It has been sitting in that same spot for sometime. It had spiderwebs all over it. I got to take a close look at from going into the so called break area, which is just a bench. I went back there with an employee on his 15. Pretty neat inside that engine house!
George R. is my favorite engine. Even though it rarely runs.

ucsigep, Judy K. is special to me also, that's my Moms first name and Last initial :) When my parents would take me to the park when I was a kid, she would always say the train was named after her.
