General Info?

What is CP's policy on employee smoking? Common sense tells me you can't smoke while working around guest, but I'm curious.

Also if I do apply and get hired I probably will leave my car home, so how reliable are the shuttles if your oof point, as I'm not one for bumming rides.
Employee smoking is not permitted while in guest view. There are designated "employee break areas" where you are permitted to smoke if you are on break or before or after your shift if you are still in uniform...

The buses aren't perfect, but I haven't heard of too many times where people were late because of the busses. Mostly it's because the employee missed the bus, which is a whole different problem. There were a few times where busses ran late because of traffic, etc. But you learn that if it is a busy day (i.e. Saturdays in July/August) then you get to the bus stop really early (and you just might decide that bumming a ride is your preference on a day like that!)

Hope you change your mind about bumming rides, because on carpool days (saturday in July & August) people will beg you to get in their car. (or maybe that was just me) ;)

O.K. Petfarmer, I might have to remind you of this thread and that's before car pool days.
As for smoking, ZONE THIRTYFOUR is right - absolutely NONE while in guests' view. But you can get smoking rooms in the dorms (not too sure about the apartments).
