General Application Base: Good or Bad?

For the past 4 days my application status said that it was on review for Park Operations. Now it changed and it's in the "general application base for all operating departments." What does this mean? This is normal? What should I do? Thanks!

I know Debra has been reviewing mine today then the status changed to general app but something similar happened to my friend and he got his email today.

You must remember it is very, very early in the hiring process. They have thousands of applications to look through. Not everyone is hired by the first person that reviews their application. Unless something stands out, on your application, it will be returned. Notes will be made and they may return to it later. Some managers are looking for a certain quality and others a different quality. Give it time.

Another thing to think about. Based on the poor grammar some posters use. I would not hire you. Especially if you talk the way you write.

Considering its a forum, it doesn't matter how one writes. I think everyone knows to sound professional for a job. We'll, hopefully everyone knows. It happened to him at the very end of the day so we shall see for me soon.

Plus I'm sure most on the forum use their phones. I'm using my iPad and it autocorrects like hell. I'm not spell checking everything for this. Especially when I'm usually on the run.

If you worked at Cedar Point last year and you checked the "I wish to have my position from last season" box selected then it will change your 1st job choice to any position in park operations. This year their is a problem with the job choice codes. But if this is your first year then don't fret, just be patience, I understand your pain. This is my second year and I still get impatient lol. But if you come to find that your application does get passed you need to call and talk to the department manager and convince them top revisit your application. GOOD LUCK !!

I was in the general base and I got hired to work Millennium Force three days after Karrah emailed me.
