GateKeeper Queue

I've looked all over for this but I can't find it. Where exactly is the queue going to be?

It hasn't been announced. Really nothing about the plaza area has been announced besides that Transport Refreshments will get a facelift.

Oooh makes me wonder if we'll get a chain restaurant in to go with Gatekeeper. Any Ideas?

Apparently they are keeping it on the QT

Rcoaster, the queue line for Gatekeeper is going to start in front of Gatekeeper to the far left by the station, and then it will go underneath the first turn out of the station, and when it gets here it will weave underneath the station before splitting into two lines that will determine which side of the train you sit on.

In this photo you can see square footers that start out in front of Gatekeeper right in front of the first turn. The line will actually go through these. I'm not saying those are FOR the queue line or that the line will go through all of these square things, but the line does happen to go through them

So, how do you know where the queue is going to be? As far as I was aware, they haven't given any indication about that (other than the rendering, which as we all know is not gospel).

Brandon

I asked about the queue when I was given a tour of Gatekeeper and he took me through the line

So the main set of switchbacks will be to the left of the station/maintenance shed, between the ride and concession stands?

Brandon

I really hope they planned in a quick & simple shortcut from the exit to entrance for ERT and walk-on days.

Maverick is the most annoying queue in the park for re-rides.

Except during special event ERT, where they open the pass-through between the exit and entrance queue. :)

It makes sense (to me, anyway), to keep the entrance and exits away from one another, especially for popular rides. It seems to help limit the quantity of morons sprinting from the exit to the entrance, essentially cutting in front of guests entering the queue.

Brandon

Left? Right? How about North/South/East/West? Left of this or that would depend on which direction you are facing.

From the point of view in the photo we've been referencing.

What exactly do you mean?

I think he means the area where the queue will just go back and forth, like most of Raptor does, for example.

^ how about the majority of the queue in the spot between the front launch tower of WT and the turn right before the 1st lift hill on GK? Awful lot of space in there.

According to one of their more recent tweets...

The line will run along the beach and under the #GateKeeper station - as for the trains, you will just have to wait and see!

Switchbacks for the most part won't be under the station. They will be to the left of the turn and on the other side Gatekeeper.

I'd honestly just like to see a lot of the lake while in line. But I think it would be nice if they added some themeing. Also, does anyone think GK will get a music booth like MF?

Gonna be some cold nights while in line. Wicked Twister's line and Ocean Motion before the move were two horrible lines to stand in on a cold Halloweekends night with the wind coming straight off the lake.
