Still don't understand where everyone calls this ride THE GateKeeper. Last I checked, the sign said GateKeeper.
^ I think this is what you are saying but I am not sure. The reason it is generally called The Gatekeeper is because they are using it as a regular noun so naturally they put an article (the) in front of it. What some people don't realize that it is a proper noun which don't need articles but can take them. The people who make the mistake aren't using the the as the name of the ride but rather another word in the sentence. Yes there are still people that call it The Gatekeeper but what are you going to do.
If I saw guests act like them in behind the scenes picture #4...I think they'd get a mandatory staple haha, crazy people. Glad people usually don't act like that at CP. Like seriously, who reponds with "word" anymore (used at end of segment). Laaaame

That probably was just poor editing, I always get that feeling about 3/4 the way up any ride, its a "damn shouldn't we be at the top by now, this is higher than I thought". any ride you look at from the ground looks higher once your on it. They did a lot of jump cuts of the ride, and probably jumped over the mark where he actually said that line, the producer probably still wanted that line in so the editor added it back where it would closely fit, toward the top.

I still don't understand how anyone can start any of the ride names at Cedar Point with "The".
The Main Midway Carousel, The Train (aka The Cedar Point & Lake Erie RR), The Blue Streak, The Millennium Force, The Iron Dragon, The Mantis, The Antique Cars, The Turnpike Cars, The Cadillac Cars, The Peanuts Playground among others, disagree with you. :)
