So that's what they were doing down there. I did see a man and woman spending a lot of time doing something to the front of the first car while in line today.
That said, I must say I was pretty impressed with how well the MF crew had the line trucking today with only red and gold moving.
Sadly, the green train is still MIA as of today.
Promoter of fog.
I would also be willing to assume that because of all of the valleyed trains they are going to be more cautious. Why take the risk right now when its been chilly.

Yup, kudos to the crew of MF on Tuesday - I, too, noticed that they kept that line moving pretty well for being short a train.
Unless there are major gusts or if the forecast is wrong, then no.

I cannot believe what I just read. People on facebook/CP Rundown mentioned that Blue Train would valley again. It's not going to valley again as long as they watch the wind speeds. That could have happened to both red or yellow train.
Shawn, that was sarcasm that the poster was using when he said "it's ready to valley again". ;)

Well the winds are around 16-18 mph here right now. Not looking like we'll be going in today. It's supposed to be windy and it doesn't seem to be letting up. Save these tickets for another day.

I am coming down to Cedar Point this coming Friday the 24th, and the Weather Channel says that its supposed to be wind NNE at 14 mph, are these winds strong enough to effect any ride?
Maybe...I'll let you know on the 24th

Reference Skyhawk. Talked to man at Museum...forgot to get his name. They are waiting on a steel cable. Original manufacturer no longer makes the cable, so they had to search for another manufacturer of the cable. So far three different manufacturers have made a cable to be used, but each one did not meet the specs. Still have to get a new cable, then test for 40 hours, then get certified. Looking at probable at least three weeks before ride is ready for passengers.
Yesterday at the park, I think it was about as windy as it was opening day. The giant flag at the front of the park was flying straight out, but it was in the opposite direction as it was opening day. There were hardly any rides open then, but yesterday almost all of them were, including GK. I would've thought it would be too windy to operate, but apparently not. Could it have been the wind direction that allowed GK and the other rides to be open yesterday but not previously?
