Funniest spiel I ever heard was on Mean Streak on 8/16. At the end of the ride, the op said "Welcome back Mean Streak riders. Did anyone of you actually enjoy your ride?" in a realy sarcastic tone of voice.

I know what your talking about Shivering...me and my husband were laughing so hard...we ususally go up to cp a few times a week after 5..and this guy will have you laughing so hard..last time we were there..he was doing the skit from Saturday Night Live..the one with the two girls who have their own cheezy radio station (I forgot the name of the show they do) and then he incorporated Gemini into that skit..It was great~! We rode Gemini like 5 times in a row that night..and he never had repeated material!

It wasn't mean streak as regards to the hysterical monotone, it was me on gemini. I was VERY dry because i was miserable. I was also unfortunately the ATL. Bad job for a bad person. good times. I am going to carouse with tarts now. later.

I love to hear the creativity by the ride ops. On Mantis, the OP said, "Enjoy your day at America's big bowl of Spaghetti and Meatballs".

The Raptor guy is funny too, a big redheaded guy, he calls it the Flippin' Chicken.

Mantis had some really sketchy spiels that even I thought were inappropriate. Bob would have spun in his perverbial grave.

I was in line for the front seat on Raptor and Jeff (yes that was his name) was doing a very good job with the instructions. He commented on how thier uniforms look like Domino's Pizza delivery guys. Jeff also was talking with one of the passengers, so he had to do the instructions very fast, then said something like "What? You didn't get that?" as the train departed.

During the entire wait that I had for the front, he didn't repeat anything. It made the wait for the front MUCH more enjoyable!!!

Welcome back Raptor riders-how was your flight??

When we were there on 9/8 in line for the front seat of manis we heard some great saying. I don't remember them all but it was something along the lines of put all loose articles in the bins, toupees, detachable arms, loose legs, and small children. They were great, had us laughing the whole time. That just goes to show that a ride op enjoys their job. :) Good job mantis crew!

The funniest spiel ever on our crew was when drama-Mikey was having a predictably bad day and decided to exercise his right to sardonicism on our PA. "Oncoming riders, sit down. Don't take pictures, don't lose anything. Cedar Point is not resposnible for anything because they don't care about you, like they don't care about me and I am about fed up. Dan, I'm losing it. Sit down and enjoy the damn ride." After this, he ran downstairs and started crying. Good times.
