Funny Ride Ops

Have you experienced any funny announcements?

In the July, the Iron Dragon op was hillarious!  They would say things like "Iron dragon will turn you upside down an amazing ten times!" (that really scared the people grtting on!)  and "And enjoy your ride on Milennium Force...You wish!).  He said something else, but I don't remember it right now.

On Gemini, the one op was like "See that line that looks like butter? If you step on it, your toast." I thought that was kind'a funny. The mine ride was funny, "We don't like *Nsync, they were here 5 days ago, they did not ride our ride!!!!"

I really liked when the Mine Ride crew would say...."We're about to take you up 243 inches (somethin like that) and then drop you....."

I also liked the Tickle me Raptor, which i only saw happen once.....and I like the Raptor spiel in French.

There was this one op on gemini he was really boring but it was in a funny way, he goes well this ride takes you up so and so feet but if you want higher MF is over that way

The Iron Dragon op on 8/9 said something like "this ride is not recommended for people with heart problems, back problems, mental problems, or people just having a bad day."

I got a kick out of that....

There some dude on gemini who flats out screams into the mic, I think he was foreign, he had a funny accent.

There was an op on Mantis earlier this season that was very funny. One of his comments was something like..."Don't forget to go ride Mine Ride because...well, noone else does."

One of my favorites that I hear a lot, normally on Magnum  "Welcome one coming riders and Dan to the Magnum XL-200."
"Welcome back riders how was your ride?  At this time unfasten your seatbelts, lift your lapbar and follow Dan down the exit."

Unfasten your seatbelts????  Huh, didn't you break your seatbelt and then make a mad dash for the exit one time Dan.  ;) 
I do recall a raptor ride op say something very close too "Raptor riders, did you know more people were injured last year sitting at their computers then at amusement parks.  That is right rollercoasters are safe"

Yeah, follow Dan down the exit had me rolling!!  It's even funnier when you actually hear it!  I've heard it one time, thought it was hilarious.

I'm not sure but I think it was on Mean Streak, the op said "Enjoy the rest of your day here at Cedar Point, worker's paradise"  in a hysterical monotone voice.

Oscar on Gemini.  Best spiel ever.  If you've heard him, you'll know what I'm talking about.

Shivering Tim, or any one else who knows Oscar's spiel, please tell. At least for those of us who live over 500 miles away. :)

I just experienced Oscar's spiel today! Some examples: "Please stay 100% behind the yellow line." "Please secure all loose articles. Why? Because Cedar Point will not be responsible...." "Gemini is a great ride because it's got a short line." Part of what makes it funny is his accent, which some morons in line with me were making fun of! I thought he was great!
