Fun places to go in Sandusky

If you have a car there are many fun places to go in the Sandusky area. All the nearby towns have interesting things to see. When you process in be sure to check out brochures at the ESD office. There are many fairs and festivals in the area as well. Some of the places I have been are Lakeside, Prehistoric Forest and Mystery Hill, African Safari Wildlike Park, Goofy Golf, Merry-Go-Round Museum and the Norwalk Strawberry festival, Erie County Fair and Vermilion Festival of the Fish.

Also the Sandusky Library is a nice relaxing place and a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the point.

Is that Prehistoric Forest place actually fun? The commercials always crack me up because they're SO absolutely fake...

I've taken a day trip to Kelley's Island before and hiked all over it. I checked out the glacial grooves over in the state park and just generally wandered all over the place. It was so peaceful, and there was so much to see. If you're into hiking/nature sort of things you would love it.

There's some decent Renaissance festivals in the area that you can get to if you have a car. The best one, though, is on the other side of Cleveland so it's a bit of a road trip.

Lets see..fun things to do in Sansusky....uuummm NOTHING, enless you think walking around the 24 hour Meijers is fun, there's not much to do inside the city of Sandusky.
Does anyone have any idea where the nearest horseback ridding stable is? I love horesback ridding and don't want to go another summer without it!

I know that cow tipping in Sandusky is big, or at least it was on Tommy Boy. I think we should get a group and try it sometime!

Clara...

there are some in Norwalk....Alot of the Senoir officers ride there, I also herd that there was one in Huron..

Honestly, if you're old enough (you don't even have to really be into drinking), go to the bars. You'll meet a lot of CP people and have a good time.
To tell you the truth there really isnt anything to do in sandusky besides a few clubs. And its only getting worse since they blew up sports city to build a home depot.
Whether there is things to do or not in Sandusky it isn't really going to matter, believe me. When you hit the middle of summer and you're working an OC, when the days finally done you just want to come back to your appartment and relax. Maybe in the month of may you'll be begging for things to do but once summer hits you will be working so many hours that time is gonna fly by. Besides... there's always the bars like so many other people have said. Other than that... there really isn't to much to do in Sandusky.

Without a doubt the night life is the best part about cp EVEN thought the clubs aren't very good you can always find cp staff at the clubs and bars. Personally louie's is my favorite because it's chill, it's relaxed and it's all cp for the most part. If it wasn't for the social aspect of louie's and cp as a whole I wouldn't have made it through the summer. It may be the bonus that keeps you there but it's the memories that bring you back.
Do you have to be 21 to go to most of the clubs/bars in sandusky?
the best thing about sandusky now is the 24hr wal-mart, the air stinks sometimes

Louies you don't have to be 21... but other than that i'm not sure. I never went to any of the others because Louies is only like a 5 minute walk if your walking super slow. So yeah... no reason to go anywhere else lol.
