Front or Back?

Can anyone tell me, where it's best to sit on these rides, front or back? Any tips?

Blue Streak
Cedar Creek Mine Ride
WildCat
Corkscrew
Gemini
Jr. Gemini
Disaster Transport
Iron Dragon
Magnum XL200
Mean Streak
Raptor
Mantis
Woodstock Express
Millennium Force
Wicked Twister
Top Thrill Dragster
Maverick

Also what Thrill Rides must we hit?

Wicked Twister is a lot of fun in the back. Front seat on Mean Streak is a must, unless you enjoy seeing your chiropractor. The other coasters are pretty good no matter where you sit. Also, Disaster Transport and WildCat, Jr Gemini, Woodstock Express do not have choice seating, it's ride host assigned. Millennium Force and Dragster front seat wait times can add up to an extra 45 minutes on to the normal wait. Maverick is also a lot of fun in the front, and usually has only about two train wait for the front.

Thrill Rides must rides: maXair, SkyHawk, Power Tower, and the new WindSeeker. Skyscraper located in the Challenge Park is an incredible ride and is well worth the small price.

MF front seat is a great experience, but I actually prefer the back seat myself. Love the acceleration over the lift hill and that kick you get on the banks.

Front seat of Dragster is something to be experienced as well. That wide open view going over the hill with nothing in front of you rocks.

Raptor I prefer the front seat, just for the view. Much better than looking at the back of the row in front of you, but still a good ride in any row.

As for the rest, I pretty much ride wherever I can get a seat.

Have to agree with pointperson on maXair and Skyhawk. Two great rides, and I'm not typically a swinging or spinning ride fan.

^"kick" on the banks on MS? More like being hit by multiple freight trains ;)

I think Dragster, Mantis, and Raptor are 3 rides that should be experienced in the front seat. The latter two just because you can't really see too well in the other rows. Mean Streak is also the front seat, only for smoothness.

Also, I think MF is best experienced in the back seat (and on the lake side if we're being really picky). Wicked Twister is

Finally... Magnum is best in the first car, third row.. :)

MS? Had to go back and make sure I put in MF in there. I don't have a preference for a seat on MS, just make sure I pop an extra dose of ibuprofen before I ride. That is in addition to the dose I take before I enter the park every visit. :)

Agree on the Magnum seat as well.

One of the few Mean Streak lovers left in the world.

Blue Streak - Back. A lot more exciting back there.
Cedar Creek Mine Ride - Doesn't matter

WildCat - Doesn't matter
Corkscrew - Sit in the front half of a car if you have long legs
Gemini - Try to sit on an inside seat for fun interactions with the other train.
Jr. Gemini - Doesn't matter
Disaster Transport - Doesn't matter
Iron Dragon - Doesn't matter
Magnum XL200 - Car 1 row 3 or back. From experience those are the two most fun.
Mean Streak - Front to save your back
Raptor - Front for view
Mantis - Front for view.
Woodstock Express - Doesn't matter
Millennium Force - Front. Front. Front. Its worth the wait. If the wait is too long try row 2 since its stadium seating.
Wicked Twister - Back. 2nd to back row is good since it gives you the most clear view straight down.
Top Thrill Dragster - Front is cool, but sometimes not worth the wait. Also, be prepared to eat bugs
Maverick - Back is my favorite due to the airtime.

Also what Thrill Rides must we hit?

SkyHawk, maXair, Power Tower, of course Wind Seeker, and then any other flats that have a short line at the time and look fun.

Here are my answers:

Blue Streak - Front seat
Cedar Creek Mine Ride - any seat as long as it's the right side
WildCat - front
Corkscrew - boring
Gemini - Close to rear
Magnum XL200 - last car, second row
Mean Streak- front seat is a MUST
Raptor - front seat
Millennium Force - about 2/3 of the way back provides optimal airtime
Top Thrill Dragster- further back is better, but front is cool too
Maverick- towards the middle/rear

Blue Streak=Middle row of second to last car for the best effect
Cedar Creek Mine Ride=This isn't thrilling, for looks, lets say front
WildCat=I have no preference, the single car design makes sitting anywhere the same
Corkscrew=Depends on what you want. Front for looks, back for thrill...also pain..That first bunny hop will bang you up in the back, the front you bounce over it for sure. I actually enjoy the back so :P
Gemini=Inside, give someone a hi-five when you can :)
Jr. Gemini=This intense coaster deserves the front
Disaster Transport=You can't see because all the effects are turned off or covered in a 2 inch layer of dust, therefore it doesn't matter
Iron Dragon=I would ride front because I don't like seeing all of the other cars
Magnum XL200=As said earlier, first car third row...It's the ****
Mean Streak=Very front car...I tried it in the back, that stuff hurts...
Raptor=I suggest front just for looks, the ride is the same everywhere
Mantis=Very front, and on the edge seats...Hanging off the track, especially on the right hand side after the pre drop on the first hill turning around...it's awesome :D
Woodstock Express=Never rode it lols
Millennium Force=The very front for looks, back for thrill. Now the front is still thrilling, and I actually will tell you the very front is a waste, it has stadium seating, so sit in the first car, second row. Now at night, sit a few cars back unless you want your clothes & face/mouth covered in bugs
Wicked Twister=Personal preference is back because I like diving at the ground from the rear spike. The front is good if you wanna fall down on your back/want to see the launch
Top Thrill Dragster=Very back for the pull over the hill, Front for the thrill, but I don't think the 3 hour wait is worth 17 seconds
Maverick=If it's a first time, ride front, any other time, the back provides one kickass thrill, especially the ejector air over the first hill & bunnyhop

Also what Thrill Rides must we hit=Power Tower, Drop Side...Skyhawk, anywhere, Maxair=Anywhere, Snake River Falls=Wherever, front to get drenched. SKYSCRAPER=RIDE IT!!! Especially when you flip, if you're going forewards, lean in so you throw the car's weight foreward. Going backwards, lean back as far as you can, your weight distribution does help the ride...And it's so worth the 10 bucks/5 a pop for platinum passholders

Toward the back on:
Millennium Force
Magnum
Corkscrew
Wicked Twister
TTD
Gemini
Blue Streak

Toward the front on:
Raptor
Mean Streak
Mantis

Apathetic on:
Maverick (no apathy toward the ride, however)
Mine ride
Wildcat
Iron Dragon
Disaster Transport

The path you tread is narrow, and the drop is sheer and very high.

Blue Streak - towards the back if you like airtime but somewhat rough rides

Cedar Creek Mine Ride - Not that thrilling so it doesn't matter where you sit

WildCat - Either one doesn't matter. There's only 2 rows per car

Corkscrew - Front if you want to enjoy the ride, Back if you like to get whiplashed.

Gemini - I always choose the back. I like airtime and getting thrown over hills

Jr. Gemini - Never rode it.

Disaster Transport - Just like Wildcat, the seat you sit in doesn't matter

Iron Dragon - Back for the airtime especially on that first hill

Magnum XL200 - Middle/Front. I have long legs so the bunny hills kill my legs if I sit in the back but the back does provide VERY nice airtime. Talk about getting thrown over a hill on this one! But if you sit in the very front, it feels like you are already halfway down the hill while the back of the train is still trying to crest the hill.

Mean Streak - Take everybody else's advice and ride the front on this one. I don't mind rough rides, But the back would be a little too much and I don't recommend it.

Raptor - I love getting thrown over that first hill and all of the inversions so that's why I choose the back for this ride. BUT around 7 o'clock, you could probably ride Raptor 5 times in a half hour because the line dies down so much so you could try the front, middle, and back.

Mantis - Front. If you're a guy and there is gonna be one ride that is uncomfortable, it's Mantis. So you might as well sit in the front for the view. Also take an end seat, not a middle.

Woodstock Express - Never rode it

Millennium Force - Both are very good. You crest the hill at a good pace anyways so getting thrown over the hill by sitting in the back isn't the same as Magnum. I prefer the front AT NIGHT though. The back is fun too. I can't make up my mind for this one, but I would go with the front.

Wicked Twister - My favorite ride! There is no bad seat on this baby! If you like to experience a good launch (or if a friend/family member wants to take your picture/video), sit in the front. If you like the thrill of not knowing how far you are from the top, (and the fear of the train flying off the track) then sit in the back. DO NOT pass WT up!

Top Thrill Dragster - A lot of people are saying the back, but honestly, the back doesn't do justice for me. The very front seat is so intense. When you sit in the very front you realize how fast the ride actually is!

Maverick - Just like Wicked Twister, there is no bad seat on Maverick. The first hill is CRAZY in the back though. I always choose the front. No matter where you sit, you WILL experience some very good air time!

Back seat on Maverick is better than front seat in my opinion. The whip on it over the air time hills are a lot better when in the back. On the sharp turns the whip is insane, I love it. Back Seat Maverick > Front Seat Maverick

Magnum: 1-3 or 6-1

Front seat...'cause if you ain't the lead dog, the view never changes. (*)

Funny, I rode this seat on the Blue Streak today, and I'd actually agree. I've ridden in the front and back, but this position was definitely a good spot. The hills were fun, and you didn't get so much whiplash that it wasn't enjoyable.

Raptor is definitely a front-seat experience. Although the back seat rides just as well, if not better, the view isn't as enjoyable.

Corkscrew should be front.

Magnum is a backseat backseat ride for me.

Maverick, I tend to prefer the back, but I'm sure the front is just as fun.
