Phoenix to Sandusky, and worth every cent. I actually grew up in Toledo and have spent many great summers riding the best coasters on the planet...but that was many many years ago. A lot has changed since then eh??I moved to Phoenix 15 years ago and have not been to the Point since. Until last week that is!!! I've been married for 13 years, 3 children. Boys 14,11 daughter 8. I need not go into too much detail about how much fun we had. Lets just say it was without a doubt, the most rewarding, fun, happy, stress free vacation we have had. Longest wait was 1 hr for MF and since we got TTD out of the way first on both days, the reat of the rides we essentially walk on. Disney Land is cool, been there 4 times, Magic Mountain.... nice, Six Flags....once is enough...but Cedar Point is where it's at. Period. We flew into Cleveland, picked up the rental car and were in Sandusky in less than an hour. Stayed at the Breakers (always wanted to do that) and although expensive, the location almost makes up for it. Nevertheless, it was so nice to get back to the Point and to have my wife and children experience THE greatest park on the planet. I don't know what took me so long to return to Sedar Point, but I do know I will not wait that long again. In fact, the week before Labor Day will now become our annual visit back to Cedar Point. Can't wait!!!
