friends allowed in dorms

i know my friends might come see me over the summer and also my family im wondering if their allowed in the dorms or not? i mean not to stay but just to vist?
I believe the rule is over 18 -OR- family members with someone over 18. Last year, I wanted one of my friends to come over but they wouldn't let her in because she was a green tag. This is one of the areas where the excess rules are kinda silly.

Each employee is aloud to sign in one guest of the age 18 or older. They hold on to your license while their inside housing area's. Unless your moving it or out sometimes they let both parents in..

The whole under 18 thing is because of legal reasons.

There have been incidents in the past with underage people in the dorms and it got pretty ugly. We live in a country where lawsuits and such are WAY too common so the company is just covering themselves, and honestly, I appreciate it. I wouldn't want to walk into my dorm room to find one of my room mates brought some minors into the dorm and then see something that shouldn't happen.

P.S. to answer the emails.. I'm only posting in here now because of the contract. Helping out the new people.

You can have any of your family members visit, and if anyone is under 18 then they need to be accompanied by an adult/guardian at all times.

You can also two non-family guests visit at a time, as long as they are 18. And any guests that you have need to be out by midnight :)

I don't really understand the whole rule of not letting green tags into the housing complexes. It makes sense what Rob said, but the thing that gets me is that they let some green tags *live* in housing, but don't let any green tags visit. (If you think this is annoying when you have a friend who's a green tag, it's even worse when it's your boyfriend). Or do 17 year olds living in housing have to have their parents sign something first that says it is all right for them to live there?

You can live in Cedar Point housing if you're 17 and have graduated from high school (and live more than 25 miles away from the park). Therefore, dark green tags can stay in Housing at CP.

As far as friends visiting, I have had both parents, my sister and brother, uncle, aunt and cousin visit me in my apartment at once. I believe that Security took my dad's and uncle's drivers' licenses to hold until everyone left. Of course, this was during the day, and they only stayed for about a half hour.
