Fridays

So far we have gone the last two Fridays in a row and have been amazing.

I get out of work on Friday's at 6pm. My girl is here with my car, a packed cooler and something for me to change into. We head out and make good time from Farmington Hills, Mi to Sandusky, we usually are in the Soak City lot by 8:30ish including a stop on the turnpike.

Crowds have been awesome. on 9/19 the parking lot had maybe a few hundred cars while the Soak City lot had roughly 100 or so. We walked onto Maverick, Millennium Force, Magnum, Power Tower, Raptor (literally walked on) Iron Dragon and had time to hit Millennium Force once more.

on 9/26 we had the same experience, except this time, instead of having to exit Millennium Force, we got off the train and walked right through to the station from the unload platform. God love those ride-ops. 3 times in a row at night is awesome.

All in all I've been 16 times this year... My girl has been 15 times and not once have we had crowds like this. I can only hope when we arrive fairly late Saturday night around 8:30 as usual, it will be the same type of crowd. But I know better.

Also, we have been staying at the Econo-Lodge on 250 (milan rd.) cheap, spacious and all around a nice, cheap room. $70 for 2 doubles, a couch, microwave, fridge and a little breakfast knook. Good stuff.

Good...I'm glad you have enjoyed your stays at the best amusement park in the world.

Fridays and Sundays are the best time to come to CP during the Halloweekends, if your looking for walk-ons!

grrrrrrr I choose to live in my own little world and believe the fun will never end.

We'll be enjoying every minute of the remaining weekends. I think the only Friday i won't be there will be this Friday and halloween. I have way too many parties to attend this year. But I'll be there closing day for sure.
