Friday vs sunday for halloweekends?

I'm wondering which is the better choice. I live in toledo so the drive is worth going on a friday if all the outdoor haunts are open, unless the lack of coasters is bad. I could go on a sunday, the tickets would cost about the same because i can get a uaw discount on tickets. All the rides are open but i'm sure the crowds would be worse. I absolutely hate waiting in line. I'm just hoping for someone with recent halloweekend experience would be able to give their opinion.

On Friday you get all the haunts, but not the parade and only some rides are open. On Sunday you get all the rides, the parade and some or all the haunts depending on when you go. Sundays in September it's just the indoor houses. Once October rolls around, all the outdoor haunts are open as well.

I would go with Friday IF you've been to the park before and are only interested in the rides, and not necessarily the whole park experience. Every Friday I've been there, it seems like only the local high school kids are there and most rides are walk-ons.

If you're new to the park and want a more full amusement park experience, wait until Sunday. I would certainly avoid most Saturdays, especially Columbus Day. They're just as busy as in the summer. I am not a fan of Halloween, so I can't speak for the spooky parts. I would say Sunday is usually an okay day during HalloWeekends, but you can run into a busy one once and a while.
