Halloweekends Opening Night

Its the most wonderful time of the year.  I love Halloweekends more than anything it has always been my favorite time of year.  I have been to the four previous opening nights for Halloweekends but by far version V was the best. 

Mindy and I got to the park around 6:30 and we ran into Shorty and his wife and then we got a quick ride on Raptor. 

After MF Mindy and I hit the force.  WOW what a ride, with the sun glarring and the fog machine running on overdrive the MF island was covered in fog.  It if wasn't for the solo ride I had with Spartan the Friday before it would have been hands down the best ride on MF I have ever had. 

Through out the night we ran into other GTTP members, Jeff and Steph, Joe E., and Pete. 

I got the seven laps on Magnum I needed to make 2100!  The ride was running good and most of the lights in Soak City were off making it even darker.

All in all it was a great night, my brother got Elvira'a autograph but I didn't want to wait in the line. The park looked great and my favorite new item for halloweekends was the haunted carousel.  Mindy did bring up a good point, they show a ghost inside the horse, why not show a girl? 

We ended the night with a quick ride on the Force.

We were up there from 7pm on.. caught one of the last Magnum rides.. weird.. you were on MF, we were on Magnum.. hehehehe

What you think of the Fright Zone? I loved it..

I loved the Fright Zone, mindy has a very a very hard time seeing in the dark so she didn't like it that much, but I loved it.

I was also there Friday night, I saw Magnum Dan but he pretended like he didn't know me!  ahahaha

We got there around 10:30 cause we worked this weekend (me being myself and the YSU CP employee entourage), so we decided to go in and ride MF a few times...ended up riding four times and then going over to Magnum for one awful terrible horrible ride (the worst ride I've taken on Magnum in a long time).  And then went to Power Tower to get THRUST down 240 feet. 

The park was so empty that, driving in, I had to ask my friend if she was SURE we were open until midnight, even though I knew damn well we were.  Oh well.
