I have been to MiAdv more than 5 times this year and spent two 3 or 4 day stints at CP.
Where is the resaon to go in 2004? I just don't see it. I've ridden them all multiple times and (for me) it's time for something new.
An annoucement from MiaAdv *may* have changed my purchace desision, but right now, I'm taking 2004 off as far as season passes.

That is the reason we buy our passes and spend many a days at the park.
From this thread it appears last Friday was not up to "CP standards" (which we all agree are quite high). It will be quite different this evening I am sure (heck The OTT Family will be on the Midway that alone makes it a better day at CP:))
I *still* ride corkscrew @ CP, nearly every trip. It's still fun. It isn't as exciting as when I was a whippersnapper in the early 80's, but I don't have to wait 45 minutes to ride it, either.

It's not war, famine, or pestilence; it's only downtime.
As an optimist, I'm also hoping the single train operation last Friday was due to Isabel's leftovers (aka wind) and is not a harbinger of future Friday nights. If they can't have their major coasters running at capacity, they need to offer more to do besides the haunted houses.
I'm planning a Friday/Saturday trip for the 10th/11th

just to clear up some confusion for you all that were upset that raptor only ran one train on friday nite, sept. 19. i'm on the raptor '03 crew and i worked that nite. the reason we only ran one train was initially b/c of the winds. but when the winds died down, we couldn't put another train on b/c we hadn't done block checks, which is basically a test to make sure that the trains stop where they are supposed to when the train ahead of it stops. since we didn't do a block check then we couldn't put more trains on. but if i do say so myself, i think we did a pretty good job for just one train.
