(boredom)
I arrived at around 5 for some "starlight" action. Since the park was, um "crowded" (meaning I could not Walk On Raptor like I did several other times this season.) I started out with the short, but sweet coasters in Blue Streak and Corkscrew.
I spent the rest of the day in sunny, beautiful Frontier Town area. I practiced on the Skeeball tables back there. I like them, the plastic around the holes seem to have some nice give. Bounced a couple of the 40 hole into the 50. Rather be lucky than good.
Even though I vowed never to ride it again for a month, Mean Streak was only 5 minutes so I went on. This time the front was not as bad, but my neck started to hurt again after the midcourse brakes.
Mine Ride liked to set up when I walked by it, on the second lift hill of course. I watched it settle, and the rollback dog must not have caught the next grove cleanly. After a minute it rolled back the 3 inches and banged into the next grove down. The people on the train were so freaked out for that one-second, kind of funny.
I then got in some practice laps for the Gemini 100. I was not really trying, but ended up with 20 laps in a little over 2 hours.
Then I got in 7 twilight laps on Magnum, full of tasty muffleheads :). One missed my mouth and got lodged in my eye and is either part of it are still there or it tore it (sorry, some may think that's gross), cause it still hurts! If i show up to the Gemini 100 looking like a pirate, it's me
Ended up with a night time ride on the Force, noticing the new policy. It look's like it will work!
