Went to the park for the first time this season yesterday and had an awesome time. Crowds weren't bad and the weather was perfect. Im not going to waste everyone's time with a play-by-play but would like to point out some of my observations:

THE GOOD:

1. Maverick rocks! Easily one of the best rides in the park now. It doesn't let up from beginning to end. Also worth noting that the tunnel mist, water bombs and "fire hose" were all working.

2. Maverick also helps keep the lines for MF, TTD, etc. down. Only waited 1/2 hour for both of those.

3. 3 train operation back on Magnum

4. Mantis was noticeably smoother and not as jerky. Anyone know of any changes made to it at all? I actually enjoyed my ride on it.

5. Parked in the Soak City lot and realized how much better it is than parking out front

6. Great crews on Dragster, Maverick, Mantis and Gemini

THE BAD

1. Service at Midway Market sucks. Had to wait almost 20 minutes before our drink orders were taken.

2. 3 train stacking on Raptor...I didn't even think this was possible.

3. I got crapped on by a bird on the Frontier trail.

1 - Good, I still want to ride this thing.

2 - Even better than good, can ride Magnum a ton.

4 - Nope, but I'm glad to hear it. Is it possible the first hill trims were open?

6 - Good to hear

1 - Not surprised. Its the worst "dine-in" location in the park.

2 - The crew must have been sleeping.

3 - Eh, what're you gonna do.

Sounds like a fun trip.

Ohhh now MM isn't that bad. If you can pack down the food it's the best deal in the park.

Its the biggest rip-off and the most understaffed, underquality food in the park.

I tried it twice, and both times I had bad experiences. I'm not wasting any more money on that hole.

We ate at MM twice this week (Monday and Tuesday). Had great food and great service both times! Where in the park is the service and food in general better?

I ate at the buffet restaurant at Kings Island on Thursday and it sucked.

last time i ate at mm i got food poisoning and had to go to the doctor.it SUCKS!!
