Nothing like hitting up the Po!nt 2x in 3 days! :)Sporting my "Hydra the Revenge" shirt and "Talon" hat it was back to CP once more :)

High Po!nts: Crowds were busier than Wednesday, however still tolerable. Raptor Joe Cool got us 8 Raptor rides right off. Hubby was dieing to try WT in the front, and he really loved it. I still found it boring, prefer last car still. Later that afternoon, we got to enjoy the "Amusement Today" awards presentation, that was ALOT of fun. Met up with Matt (Skykicker) and his Dad, then later in the day met up with Dave (DodgeEmDave) and Tony (Tony). The Dodge Em rides were TOO funny!! These guys were out for BLOOD! Managed yet another $100.00 in CP merchandise, so much for the theory that Po!nters don’t spend alot of $$ when they’re at the park! Added to my carousel horse collection. Finished the day with another Raptor ride.....99 to go till my 1k! :)

Low Po!nts: MF: We got to watch 3 people have to get off the train ahead of us due to seat belt, and 4 people on our own train. You could see the disgust in the guests, but the look of disgust from all the guests forced to wait was even worse. I know many people think that means that the entrance op wasn’t doing their job, but a couple of the people I was kind of surprised didn’t fit. Then a couple of the others I thought "they had got to be kidding" It could very well be the op suggested the test seat to be cursed out (it does happen) or the op was told they’ve ridden before with no problem. You can not force someone to try the seat, it can only be a suggestion. You have no idea how uncomfortable that situation is for an op....I know I never liked doing it, and there is no real tactful way to suggest someone tries the seat. But rest assured that if enough guests get turned away the TL WILL say something to the entrance op about it.
The humidity was awful again, and I wasn’t the smartest of all people wearing black on top of that!! This was the 1st time since our (very special) trip in May it rained. It actually POURED from 3-4pm. Again, my employee blues came to my rescue. Once rain let up, in true CP fashion all the rides were up and running again. We hadn’t planned on staying until closing but ended up doing it again anyway!

Not a ton of rides to talk about, pretty much took park at our own pace, no long waits for anything, especially after the rain was gone.

Hanging with my CP buds and even the CP (and other park) big wigs was fun enough for me!!! :)

Congratulations to CP for again winning for "Best Amusement Park" and to MF for reclaiming the "Best Steel Coaster" for Amusement Today.
(Raptor was #10-proving that even after 10 years my baby still ROCKS! :))

Best line of the entire day: "Please, call me Dick" ;)

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?

That's cool you had a chance to see the AT awards presentation, I would've loved to go see that. But no big deal. Sounds like you had fun and good luck on getting 1000 rides, I think I'm at 15, LOL.

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

Sounds like you guys had lots of fun, I'm only at 127 Raptor rides. I'm with you on the seat selection Luv, I also like the back seat on WT! ;)
