I had a blast with my kids on Friday! We have season passes and really wanted to get on theMaverick before the long wiat. When we got there, we got in and ran from the entrance from the Magnum area to the Maverick! I wore flip flops because we were going to check out soak city later in the day. Anyway I took off my flip flops and ran like crazy like a kid. It is hard to run in bare feet. We made it to the Maverick and we got in line and they need one single person for the front and they had room for two more. Luck was on our side. My oldest got in the front and my youngest and I got behind them and we were the first ride of the day! That was cool. The ride is so sweet! Then we got off and ran for a 2nd ride. We made it just before a rush of people!Being able to do that made up for all the problems we have had to get on the ride! After that we rushed over to the Raptor. We rode it twice! Second time we got the front! Way cool. Then we rode the Mantus, Iron Dragon, Wildcat, the Derby cars and a few other rides and went to Soak City which we had never been in before. We live close to Geauga Lake to we have been in that water park this year! Soak City was fun. Then we went back to the park to get some Cotton Candy and goodies and headed back to the east side. We stopped at Speedway for our pop and then Wendys for a late lunch and made it through downtown Cleveland before the traffic got bad! I had a nother great day at Cedar Point. I wish it was a bit closer for us and I didn't have to drive through Downtown Cleveland! The rest of the ride is fun. I have been really upset about the closing of my home park of Geauga Lake, but I am enjoying my other two Ohio parks this year and getting to know more coasters! I also have been to Kings Dominion this year and got to ride on the Dominator whaich is my favorite coaster of all. But now I have a few more of my top coasters and they are the Raptor and also the Maverick!

How was Soak City? I haven't been there in years. Would you say it is better than WWK?
