FRIDAY
Arrived at Lighthouse Point cottage around 11 am. Very nice! I had seen these the year before, but only from the outside. This is the best way to spend your time at CP! Hands down.
Most coasters were running Friday, and we hit most. The longest wait was for MF and that was 20 minutes--if that. Most (including Raptor were a walk on) (TTD's wait was 4-5 hours...NO WAY!) Headed back to the cottage around closing time. Man, the shuttle is NICE :)
SATURDAY
Uhg. 5:30 thunderstorms wake everyone. Nasty weather! Around 7, I decide I'm not feeling very good. Yeah, drinks were had the night before, but nothing to warrant the way that I am feeling. The smell of the cooking bacon puts me over the edge. I'm sick.
Troy heads over to do some cam stuff and the Sis in Law and Nieces head for a little shopping excursion. I crash. It wasn't until 9 that night that I could even think about being social. That's OK, it let my brother and his daughter spend some quality time together riding Coasters. She is 49" tall and rode everything that she could (MF & Maggie hands up). Another Coaster Lover has been born.
SUNDAY
Sunday was interesting. Most coasters were closed, due to wind: MF/Maggie, Gemini, MS, Raptor, etc. TTD was running (sorta) until afternoon. They shut it down when winds of 60 mph were recorded at the 200 fot level (Maggie). CP did not wnat to launch to 400 feet because of how fast the wind was up there. My brother stayed in line hoping for it to reopen, but got a pass to the front of the line for next time, instead. Another case of CP Customer Service.
I was very pleased with the service offered by CP empoyees. All did a great job to make our stay memorable.
Can't wait to get back!
