You get 4 free tickets, and that is only after you have worked for a month :)

Also, as an employee you can buy discounted tickets.

Thanks guys! How much of a discount to employees get?
I am not absolutely sure, but it is something like $10-$12 off the normal ticket price. :)

When do you get to use the discount? Once you sign your contract, are you allowed to get in free and use the discount for school trips, class trips, senior skip day (which I am not participating in....haha yea right)?
As long as you have a valid Cedar Point I.D. you can get in for free.
...and you won't get your I.D. until you process in, so until you've actually started work at the Point, the discount isn't valid (it doesn't matter if you've signed your contract already -- they want to be sure you're going to be showing up "for real" first).

Awwwww crap! That sucks! Our senior skip day function is Cedar Point......and our Leadership class is going there too......if I could get the discount......heck yea...... :-/
Speaking of seasonal benefits, when you work at Kings Island after 1000 hours you'd have a total of 28 free tickets (so many tickets for so many hours), among other things such as 40% off merchandise. I think we're getting ripped off. I know, I know, just be happy you're getting anything....

Anyway, FirstYearVince, if you're going in May or June, a Pepsi can (or whatever it is this year) will probably end up saving you more money.

FirstYearVince....if you do bring a Pepsi can that has a discount on it, see if you can find one that's not open, and is very cold. It might help the cashier get your change and ticket to you quicker.

Student Event ticket rates are only $26 in May and June, if you have the foresight to buy early. If your group doesn't buy tickets (or you have already graduated), you can get them for probably around $33 at AAA. The AAA/Michigan web site doesn't have the discount up, but this should be about right.

Ain't that the truth!!! ::Fondly remembering the Group Sales Pepsi Products Stash::

And along the lines of what Brian Noble just said, hopefully your group is planning to buy tickets through Group Sales. (That's an even better discount than Pepsi!) Make the suggestion if they aren't planning to do so already; it's by far the best discount at the Point if your group has 15 people or more, and you can order as late as 24 hours in advance...plus, there's *incentives* depending on what you order and how you have them shipped.

I believe the Mijer discount tix are also about the equivalent of the Pepsi discount, if you have a Meijer nearby.
