Food/Specialty Carts

Hello! I was wondering if anyone has worked with the food/specialty carts before? Whats it like to work at one of these carts? Are you always at the same cart or do they move you around, and do you work alone or will there be someone else? Thank you!

I worked them for Millennium Force Camp and Power Tower Camp. I finished the year at soak City. (Alot Harder) hence you sell many more different products. You must have your cash above or below 15.00 dollars aday if not you get wrote up. It's actually pretty easy.

Hi Amanda :) My roommate worked the food carts last year, so I can tell you what it was like for her...each cart is usually run by just one person, so it might get a little lonely at times, but of course you are pretty much constantly busy and there are always guests to talk to.

My roommate usually worked a different cart every day or every other day. I don't know if you can request a favorite cart to work on or not...it seemed to always rotate. You work pretty much all day, from about 11:00 a.m or so to close. I thought it seemed pretty neat not to have to be in to work until later on in the morning. There is a lot of standing, but you get to watch everything going on around you, which I think is pretty interesting. I hope you like it, I know my roommate did. It had it's ups and downs just like every job, but if you keep your spirits up you'll be fine. I'm sorry if anything I told you turns out to be inaccurate :o

Hey Greg, you said you worked in MF Camp last year - did you know Jenn Mikula? She used to work up front but then got promoted to DM of MF Camp sometime in June or July...she was my roommate last year, just wondering if you knew her :)

9 days to go!

Actually everyweek you switch carts and or request the one you would want. Always check inventory yourself before you go out. This just pertains to what you take out of the camp where you are. A distribution manager also counts the supplies you take out to your cart so you don't become short at the end of the night. And yes Jenn was an awesome person to hang with, is she coming back this year/

What kinds of things are sold at the carts? Do you have to pay with cash if you eat anything? Can you eat anything while working? Thanks. :)

You can sell Pepsi Products, Lemonade, Glazed Nuts, Smoothies,Boardwalk Fries, and all the amusement park type food. Of course you can't eat anything while working do you actually think your customers would like that!?

Well, they'd at least know the food was edible if they saw me eating it. :p

And, of course, while there were no customers waiting or anything, I meant.
