Food Service (Tony Aaron)

Hey I just had a phone interview the other day for an auditing position in food service. I was wondering if anyone out there knows about this position and if they enjoyed it. I am 20yo student from Michigan State, and if I get hired this will be my first year at the point. :) Just give a holla back and let me know!
Just make sure ur not a dishwasher at fridays cause its a lot of work and u dont get out till 2 am half the time and the pay is not worth it 6.25 an hour u can get 10 dollars an hour at outback for a dishwasher and 15 an hour for a cook i got 10 an hour for being a dishwasher at outback 4 years ago
hey,

I am the auditor at coasters drive in. If you get hired as an auditor, you will like your job very much. What you do is pretty much the supervisors assitant in a way. You handle all of the cash procedures and situations in your location. Not just handling money, but you also handle some of the supervisors duties as well sometimes especially if they are not there and you are put in charge. As an auditor you will receive respect form others as well. You are not just a red tag, but it is a promotion of auditor and it is a great position and i love it, this is my second season as auditor. Good Luck in getting this position! :) hope this helps.

Coasterjake thanks for the info! The lady I interviewed with said that I would be notifyed next week by mail. Does the auditing position pay more than the base salary?
If you talked to Tony Aaron about auditing, you will most likely be in area 3. Auditing is a pretty cool job. You are responsible for the cash in your location. You set up registers, get change and do a lot of the paperwork. You pretty much help the supervisor keep order in the stand. It pays more that base but not much more. Your best bet if you are in it for the money is to try to get bronze certified as soon as possible cause that is more of a pay difference.

Let us know what stand you get placed at.

2002- Stockade

Ok Im back, this morning I just got the E-mail saying I was hired. I was hired as an Auditor-II for Stockade. Does anyone know what the 2 is for? Ohh an what is bronze certified, and how much more do you get?
Hah... oh boy. Not exactly sure what the II signifies, but quite likely it probably just means you're the second auditor. You're going to have some mad auditing skills. (I was an area supervisor and Stockade was in the zone I regularly covered). You'll have lots of fun there, that crew is usually very tight and you'll meet lots of people. Big stand.

Bronze certification is the red-tag training program. Red tags are food hosts and general workers. Single blue (your first name is on your nametag) are unit supervisors. Double blues (first and last name) are specialty stand supervisors (Stockade is one of these) and area supervisors. Each of the tags has their own training program - yours is bronze certification. You will get a training card that goes right behind your nametag and has 4 places for stickers on it. You learn the material and get on-the-job experience, and then your immediate supervisor signs off on a sheet that signifies you know an aspect of the training (a sticker). Once you get all 4 stickers on your badge, you're eligible for the bronze certification test - if you pass that, you're now eligible for supervision and will also recieve a raise (right?). I'm not sure exactly how much it is, though.

As a bronze certified auditor, you will make 6.55 an hr. I have been an auditor for two years now and my contract also says the II on it as well. This is just the 'specific name' of your title. unit auditor II... I had that same question last year. Good luck to you this summer.
