Food prices

Hey guys how about we compile a list of food prices we have paid at the point.

Drinks are $3.59 across the point it seems (Panda Express, Subway, etc)
20 ounce bottled drinks are $3.00
Aquafina from certain food areas is $2.85

Panda Express
One side one entree = $6.99
$8.99 for is it one side and 2 entrees
Than what was it, 10.99 for one side and 3 entrees (or maybe it is 3 sides and one entree).

Hot Dogs are something like $4.70 at the Johnsonville stand, Brats are like $5.63 (yeah odd number).

I paid around $15 for a footlong sub, a six inch sub, 2 bags of chips and two drinks at Subway.

Outside the park.

If you were cleverly pointing that out for me, you may want to re-read my post. As you do, ensure you look up.

$3.95 for apple slices? Wow. The cookies at a regular subway are 3 for $1.00. I like the $1.50 for cheese, amazing. Plus the side and drink are ONLY $6.00 more. Such a deal!

I was cleverly pointing that out to you since there's nowhere in his post that asks what anyone pays for their food outside of the Point.

Maybe you should reread.

My point was that prices are so prohibitively high that I don't buy food in the park anymore.

It is a sad thing that I feel bound to the chain restaurants in the park (other than Subway), since they offer somewhat reliable food, at a somewhat respectable price. For lunch, I can get a Panda Bowl with water for 6.99, and for dinner I can get a Friday's Chicken Sandwich, Fries, and Water for 8.95... I don't see 16 dollars for two meals as being too outrageous... Especially compared to Six Flags food prices (14 dollars for a Burrito and a soda)

Fridays, in my opinion, offers the best value on the peninsula, by far. Though Famous Dave's is up there as well.

Agreed... I am just glad to have a Famous Daves here in my town... I'm going there tonight actually! Prices are marked up 2-3 dollars at the CP location.

Can't anyone around here ever make a comment that isn't 100% politically correct? I have read a lot of your posts and the majority of them are negative like that. I don't think that anyone but you really cared if he posted what food prices were outside of the point. I'm sorry if it seems like I'm trying to start anything or be mean, because I'm not. But maybe you should try to lighten up a little bit. :)

Dippin Dots 4.00 Small
$5.00 Regular
$7.50 Large

4.50 frozen banana

$4.00 frozen smoothie

In fact guys I am just going to make an Excel file here (maybe). I am bored.

^^ - he wasn't being mean, just giving DJ **** for not answering the question that was asked. You'll notice that many of us regulars have that banter going back and forth with no ill will intended.

Goodbye MrScott

John

No ill will until we're in the steel cage octagon.

Does the subway in cp have the "5 dollar footlong" or no? If they have that deal going on there, then I'm definately hitting that up!

Maverick steals the #1 spot, sorry MF

No... However Subway @ CP is proud to offer the 5 dollar "slice o' meat"... It's a great light meal, and without all the fatty condiments and carb filled bread...

$5 footlong probably has in small print "exclusions may apply"
And CP is one of them.

Yes! That's the funniest thing I have read all day. Whoever that comment was intended for, I wouldn't take that, I would come up with something even more funny to make me laugh. :)
