Food Host Help

I got the call today that I got the job of a food host. Could anybody please tell me what the job is like and what are the different duties that can be done on this job. Thanks!

Well depending on your location. You may be prepping food, cooking the food, serving the food, cash register, runner (gets items ordered for people on cash registers), patio/dining room cleaning, or floater.

What location will you be working at, maybe I can give you some more detailed information.
