Flat Rides

What's everyone's favorite flat rides? I personally like Ocean Motion, Swabichen(sorry about spelling), and Matterhorn. I think those are sweet!

My favorite flat ride it CP is Chaos, followed by the Witches Wheel, Monster and Scrambler.
Chaos is great, so is the Witches Wheel and the Tilt-A-Whirl. Notice what coaster they are all close to. hehe :)

I love the carousels. :) I really think it's great that CP has three antique carousels. I was crushed when they got rid of the Frontier carousel. That was my second favorite. :( For looking at, my favorite is the Kiddie Kingdom carousel (shame they had to hide it in the children's area). For riding, you can't beat the Cedar Downs. I swear, every time I go back to CP, I've forgotten just how fast it actually goes. As for the more up-tempo rides, I like the Matterhorn and Calypso.
I enjoy Troika, Wave Swinger and Scrambler. CP could use a new scrambler though with bright colors. Their current one looks like it has been through a war. CP does need some new flat rides...boardwalk?
I am not an exteme fans of hard-core spin-n-puke rides, but Chaos is by far the best!

"Your obssesed w/ that place aren't you?"
Ocean Motion and Chaos.
Cedar Downs (great forces) and Calypso - never hurts having worked the rides to have them as your favorites!

Cedar Downs (I love sarcasm, and the comments you can make on that ride are endless.)
Witches Wheel (Nice forces on the descending turns)
Calypso (Scaring young girls by letting out a huge "Whoo!" right by the queue.)
Matterhorn (An unexpected treat.)

I like Ocean Motion, but I think I'm moving past that type of ride. Seems overdone now.

Being the largest rider in my group, and sitting three-across on Super Himalaya, I got squished like you wouldn't believe.

I don't think I noticed a Musik Express ride at CP. I, personally, don't really like that kind of ride (once again, being largest and on the outside is kinda rough), but there's nothing like walking past one and being forced to stop to hear a Fleetwood Mac song!

calypso by farr is the best, followed by chaos
Probably Chaos and Troika.

OK, I have been a CP crazy fanatic for years, but I have a question.

What is Ocean Motion?
I feel like an idiot asking, considering all I do there is correct people who say that the block brakes are there for "G's" and that Magnum has a loop.
I feel dumb. ;)
Ocean Motion is your typical swinging ship ride. (No, that ride does not go upside down.)

Cedar Downs, Troika, Witches Wheel. Cedar Downs because it represents another time and place. Troika because it is just plain fun. Witches wheel because it is a rush.
I'm gonna have to say Ocean Motion because it is the only flat ride at Cedar Point i have been on. :) I just ride the coasters.

I got a thing for Calypso. A true classic. *** This post was edited by ToofastGM3 on 8/31/2000. ***
Calypso is probable the best flat ride ever designed! I know that its not the only one.

Other favorites are
Chaos
Ocean Motion(I love standing on it when I can!)

GO SHAMROCKS!
GO WOLVERINES!
If you're standing on Ocean Motion, you deserve to be pitched into the lake.

Besides, if you are standing on Ocean Motion, it means you don't know the real secret to that ride:

Next time, try lifting your feet.
