fishing?

I'm staying on the lake in one of the cottages and I was wondering since i'm and avid fisherman, if i should bring my pole and try out it out?

If you are staying at one of the Cedar Point Resort's cottages, then no, leave your fishing pole at home; fishing is not allowed anywhere on the peninsula, nor on the causeway. However, if you visit cedarpoint.com, I think under "Trip Tips" if my memory serves me, you can find other nearby sites for fishing.
